Meet Channon Anderson | Father & Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Channon Anderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Channon, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve had an entrepreneurial my entire life. In high school I sold chips, juices, rice krispies, candy, etc. to make extra money so my mom didn’t have to spend her money. Although I’ve had multiple jobs in my lifetime, I always knew I wanted to own my own business. Aside from sharing my experiences through fashion, my two sons are definitely the biggest reason why I started Fully Loaded Los Angeles. I wanted to be able to show them that anything is possible through hard work, dedication and consistency.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started Fully Loaded Los Angeles in 2020 with Kelley Chapman, who has been my best-friend since birth. Our mission and goal has always been to share our experiences through fashion. That includes creating designs for all, curating community activities for the youth and owning a store in the neighborhood that we both grew up in. It isn’t easy at all. There are many obstacles that we have faced that was out of our control. One thing we both agreed upon when we started was “giving up is not an option”. We have always been able to pivot and follow our mission and vision statement for the brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If one of my close friends was visiting from out of town, we would definitely hit the laugh factory first. That’s always a great spot to take someone. Since we’re in Los Angeles, we would have to visit the new Kobe statue. There’s so many places to eat but one of my favorite places is Blue Water in Redondo Beach. I’m a pretty simple person. Sports events, bowling alleys and day parties are a few of the things I enjoy doing in my city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Whew! There’s so many people to shoutout, so I’ll narrow it down a bit. First I want to shoutout to my community because none of this would be possible without their consistent support. I would also like to give a shoutout to my business partner, Kelley Chapman. He is really a huge part of the success of our brand and business. Lastly, I would like to credit my family and my kids for always reminding me to never give up.
