We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Bang and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Ignited by a passion to redefine the essence of dining, Z-Order was born from a vision to seamlessly meld technology with the art of hospitality. It was clear for us—to disrupt the traditional, we needed to harness innovation, crafting an environment where convenience and control are at the fingertips of our guests. Z-Order isn’t just about placing orders; it’s about crafting a narrative where each patron becomes the maestro of their meal. From a vivid menu display to the ease of requesting the final bill, our platform is a concierge for cravings and a hub for efficiency. We have meticulously curated Z-Order to cater to the kaleidoscope of dietary desires with eloquent visuals and comprehensive descriptions. At its core, Z-Order is our pledge to elevate your dining, where every interaction with our technology is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of your mealtime.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
At the heart of Z-Order is a fervent ambition to transform the very fabric of the dining experience. What sets us apart is not just our technology—it’s the soul we infuse into every digital interaction, ensuring each guest feels the warmth of personalized service coupled with the unmatched ease of modern innovation. We take immense pride in how Z-Order enriches the dining narrative, making every meal an orchestrated celebration of choice and charm.
The journey to where we are now, as you might imagine, wasn’t a simple walk in the park. It was a road paved with relentless dedication and the unwavering belief that dining could be something more magical. Challenges were our companions every step of the way, from conceptualizing a user-friendly interface to fine-tuning the dynamics of tech-meets-hospitality. But with each obstacle, our resolve grew stronger, emboldened by the vision of diners delighting in the newfound autonomy over their eating experience.
The lessons learned are treasured milestones. We’ve learned that true innovation is a delicate balance of audacity and attention to detail. It’s not about merely leveraging technology, but about enhancing the human element of service. We want the world to know that Z-Order isn’t just a brand; it’s a beacon of evolution in a space steeped in tradition. Our brand story is one of revolution—of a quiet reverie turned loud proclamation that dining can be effortless, enjoyable, and entirely in your hands. Z-Order is for the dreamers, the innovators, and every patron with a taste for the future.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In the vibrant city of Los Angeles, I would dive into the day with the shores of Santa Monica Beach or the bohemian charm of Venice Beach, where every corner whispers tales of delectable treats and hidden gems, all against the backdrop of the majestic Pier and the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean. For a touch of cultural splendor, I would spend some time in Downtown LA, particulary at the enchanting Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens, a sanctuary brimming with artistic treasures and enchanting themed gardens that transport you to realms of beauty and serenity. Grand Central Market is an amazing place for a wide diversity of cultural foods. Nearby, Little Tokyo stands as one of my favorite places to hangout as it offers its culinary delights and entertain you with its vibrant atmosphere.
Next, since I like to fancy a sip of craft brews, I would head over to Angel City Brewery or Arts District Brewery, nestled in the heart of Downtown LA, where quality beers flow freely amidst the laughter and camaraderie of beer enthusiasts. And for a dose of old-school fun, Shatto Bowling Lanes in Koreatown is a haven for families, friends, and colleagues alike, offering arcade games, billiard tables, a cozy diner section, and a bar serving up affordable delights.
As night approaches, I would take them some authentic All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ restaurants such as Hae Jang Chon, located in 6th street. Going there is always a delight and a pleasant dininig experience with great service and awesome food.
For some nightly entertainment, we would immerse ourselves in the pulsating nightlife of Downtown LA or the glitz and glamour of Hollywood bars and clubs. Afterwards, I would take them to a local Mexican taco stand or truck and indulge in some mouth-watering Carne Asada tacos to end the night properly.
