Hi Peace, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When starting Personas, I wanted to combine my love of video production and background of theatre into a unique experience that people could not only watch but participate in. I think people frown on so many people wanting to be entertainers and content creators but it’s just the evolution of social interaction. We usually go from watching to acting out anything we’ve seen or heard.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Personas Entertainment distinguishes itself as an innovative production company specializing in creating immersive experiences that actively engage audiences. At the core of the company’s mission is a commitment to revolutionizing traditional audience participation in entertainment. In January 2023, the company showcased its immersive approach with “Speed Dating,” a theatre play that incorporated interactive elements to enhance audience interaction. Following this success, the company unveiled “Corporate Dilemmas” in October of the same year, marking its first fully immersive production. In this experience, participants assumed the role of a CEO within the narrative, influencing outcomes through their decisions. Expanding on this success, the company has broadened its immersive offerings to include a unique behind-the-scenes music video experience, providing fans with an exclusive glimpse into their favorite artist’s video production process as well as immersive servicing tailored to events.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m friends with a lot of DJs so my favorite spots in the city are anywhere DJ CB5, DJ Swanzy, DJ Damage, DJ Ceehud and Tomi Tribe are DJing. I spend a lot of time on set working so it’s always nice to get out and catch a vibe of LA.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to shoutout The Cause International. Led by Antoine Taylor, they are an organization that has welcomed me with open arms in LA and has been the inspiration every step of my journey based on what they are doing for communities around the world.
