Hi Chema, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued an artistic and creative career as it was my natural calling. Growing up in Madrid, Spain, my life was comfortable but lacked purpose. However, moving to Los Angeles ten years ago was a much-needed change, allowing me to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new challenges. Here, I met Jaime Fernandez, who quickly became my friend, mentor, and business partner. He helped me discover my creative potential and encouraged me to explore new avenues of expression. As I delved deeper into content creation and modeling, I found a deep sense of fulfillment in bringing ideas to life and connecting with audiences on a more profound level. Creativity is not just a career choice for me but a way of life, a means to express my true self and make a meaningful impact in the world.

My journey into the world of art and creativity has been nothing short of transformative. Coming from a humble background in Madrid, Spain, I took a leap of faith and ventured to Los Angeles, CA, a decade ago, seeking to challenge myself and explore new horizons. It was a daunting transition, but one that ultimately fueled my growth and ignited my passion for creativity.

Everything changed when I crossed paths with Jaime Fernandez, a dear friend who became a catalyst for unlocking my creative potential. With Jaime’s guidance and the unwavering support of my wife, Ashley, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and creative exploration.

I am proud to have carved out a niche in the competitive media and content creation world. Alongside Jaime, I co-founded a small agency called Legends in Disguise, where we specialize in producing authentic social media content for renowned brands in fashion, lifestyle, and health and wellness. Our approach is meticulous, as we strive to understand and align with our client’s goals, values, and objectives in every project we undertake.

Our unwavering commitment to authenticity and attention to detail sets us apart. From conceptualization to execution, we leave no stone unturned, ensuring that each piece of content we create resonates with our audience profoundly. Despite being a small team, we have had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed brands worldwide, a testament to the power of passion, hard work, and dedication.

Throughout my journey, I’ve learned that the biggest risk in life is not taking any risk. Embracing fear and uncertainty has catalyzed my personal and professional growth, leading me to discover new opportunities and realize my true potential. I am grateful for every challenge and setback, as they have ultimately propelled me forward and shaped the person I am today.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Sure thing! This would be my perfect weekend in Los Angeles:

Day 1:
Morning: Let’s start our day with a delicious breakfast at Parakeet Cafe in Beverly Hills. Their avocado toast is highly recommended!
Mid-Morning: After breakfast, we’ll visit the Getty Museum to enjoy the beautiful gardens and soak in some culture. It’s also a perfect spot to take some Instagram-worthy photos.
Lunch: For lunch, we’ll explore the diverse culinary scene on Sawtelle Boulevard. There are many amazing Asian restaurants to choose from!
Afternoon: After lunch, let’s get some fresh air with a hike in Topanga Canyon. The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking!
Evening: To end the day on a high note, we’ll enjoy a scenic dinner at Geoffrey’s in Malibu. The food and ambiance are top-notch, and the ocean views are simply breathtaking.

Day 2:
Morning: Rise and shine! We’ll start our day with a sunrise stroll along El Matador Beach in Malibu. Incredible spot!
Mid-Morning: Next stop, Venice Beach! We’ll soak up the bohemian vibes, check out the street performers, and maybe even do some shopping.
Lunch: Let’s grab lunch at one of the beachside cafes in Venice. Nothing beats fresh seafood with an ocean view!
Afternoon: We can’t visit LA without stopping by the Griffith Observatory. The views of the city are unbeatable, and the exhibits are fascinating.
Evening: To wrap up our weekend, we’ll catch a classical music concert at the Hollywood Bowl. It’s a magical experience under the stars.

I owe a great deal of my success and personal growth to the unwavering support and encouragement of some incredible individuals and resources in my life. Firstly, I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to Jaime Fernandez, a beacon of creativity and fearlessness. Jaime has been more than a friend; he’s been a guiding light, pushing me to explore my creative boundaries and unlock my full potential. His mentorship has been invaluable, and I’m grateful to have him as a brother I can always rely on.

Next, I want to express my deepest gratitude to my wife, Ashley Losada. Her boundless creativity and unwavering support have been instrumental in my journey. Together, we navigate life’s challenges and celebrate its triumphs, each day inspiring one another to reach new heights.

I also want to acknowledge the profound impact of a book that has resonated deeply with me: ‘Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender’ by Dr. David Hawkins. This book has guided my path to self-discovery, helping me release the blockages holding me back and embrace a life of abundance, love, and peace.
