Meet Gia Gambaro Blount | Parenting Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gia Gambaro Blount and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gia, what matters most to you?
My primary focus is to empower parents to become their child’s optimal parent by fostering meaningful connections and providing evidence-based guidance. I emphasize the importance of authenticity, connection, and understanding to help tailor each session to find strategies that work for each member of the family. I create a supportive and non-judgmental space where families can explore their strengths, address their concerns, and develop strategies for nurturing their children’s growth and well-being.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a parent coach, I work closely with parents to provide guidance, support, and resources to enhance their parenting skills and navigate the common challenges of raising children. My primary role as a parent coach is to empower parents, help them build a positive parent-child relationship, and create a nurturing environment for their children’s growth and development.
I am most proud of the outcomes, here is what families have shared with me after our sessions:
“Figuring out discipline issues has always been the biggest point of contention between me and my husband. Gia helped us find a way to reconcile our differing points of view while respecting each of our values. Now we are confident that we are raising our child in a way that feels right for both of us. “ (Deborah, mother of a 2 yo & a 5 yo)
“Gia is THE kids’ whisperer to me. She understands my daughter better than me. I was blessed to work with her through my daughter’s toddler and preschool stage and it gave me peace and confidence to be the parent I wanted to be. If I did not have Gia on this journey, I would be lost.”
(Heidi, mother of a 3yo)

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Having lived and worked in Pasadena for over 20 years, I’ve discovered some hidden gems that make for a perfect day out. It starts with a visit to Ichima, my favorite low-key sushi place, where the fresh sashimi and creative rolls never disappoint. You also can’t go wrong at Plate 38 for some of the best drinks in town. With its cozy atmosphere and impressive selection of craft cocktails, it’s the ideal spot to unwind and catch up. No trip to Pasadena is complete unless you visit the Huntington Gardens.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have 20 years of experience as a parenting educator. In my role as the Toddler Expert for The Family Room, I have gained valuable insights into the diverse needs and experiences of parents and children. The Family Room is dedicated to helping families thrive before, during, and after pregnancy, and in the early years of parenthood.
