Meet Dr Diane Hudock-Pleeter | Doctor of Spiritual Science, Spiritual Counselor and Expert Biofield Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr Diane Hudock-Pleeter and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr Diane, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
This is a great question. For me, it’s not so easy to reduce it down to one principle as it can depend on the circumstance, situation, or experience. But, if I have to pick one principle or value, I would say having empathy is at the top of my list. To do the work I do effectively requires empathy – to be able to place yourself in another person’s shoes and hold in unconditional loving presence, kindness, compassion, and understanding is paramount. This fosters the necessary atmosphere for healing, insight, wisdom, and discovery to flow. If the engine of transformation lives in the heart – where the loving for ourselves and others exists – then empathy is a potent value to support this process of awakening and next level unfoldment.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Sure thing. I am a doctor of spiritual science, biofield healer, and spiritual psychologist. My expertise is in addressing the distortions and blockages in one’s biofield that can negatively influence or impact ones’ life, and restore whats present and return it back to its innate state of balance. I think what sets my work apart from others is simply that I don’t know anyone else that does what I do. There are a lot of sound healers, biofield tuners, and vibrational healers out there but I approach healing from a myriad of inroads both from my God given gifts of energetic perception but also through my expertise as an interpreter of the field by incorporating time-tested consciousness clearing protocols of spiritual science, spiritual psychology, and quantum healing. After doing over 5000 sessions, I have learned and discovered so much over the years that is incredibly eye-opening and exciting.
From my perspective, it is a really instrumental time to be a healer on the planet as we are in a palpable acceleration phase in our collective awakening. What was considered “woo-woo” or taboo not so long ago has become not only accepted, but is being incorporated in many main-stream applications in wellness in the last decade as we come to understand the nature of our multi-dimensionality and just what that truly means in terms of healing and potentiality.
Was it easy becoming a healer and doing what you do now? What were some, if any of the challenges?
I think, like many people, we would be hard pressed to find that our path of becoming what we are today has been a steady and smooth ascent, devoid of challenges. And yet, all those growing pains and struggles in the end only fed the work and served to make us what we are today.
That said, I never really imagined I would be doing this kind of work. Although I was very aware of some of my gifts early on as a kid, I thought that was just part of what everyone else experienced more or less, so I never really felt called at the time to look deeper. My earliest memory of this was when I was around 14 or 15 years old standing in the kitchen looking at my father sitting on the sofa from the other room. His arms were folded from some disagreement and I said to him something to the effect of, “If you keep being angry you’re going to get sick right there,” as I pointed directly to his belly. I remember quite distinctly seeing a misty cone if you will of a dark soot like substance that appeared to extend out of him about 6 or so feet from his abdomen. I had a knowing that it was an extension of him and it held a consciousness or lack there of if you will. A little over a decade later he died of stomach cancer. Looking back in hindsight, I realized what I was seeing early on as a teenager was an aspect of the biofield – I just had no context of that until much later. The biofield wasn’t even a word that existed until the early nineties when it was coined by the National Institute of Health to describe this diffusive electro-magentic field that surrounds the human form which is measurable. When I was 19 I got very sick and that offered another glimpse into my future. Due to my illness, I sought out a renowned quantum healer who opened the door to what was possible, how we are vibrational beings, and just what that means in terms of healing. This path continued with many incredible teachers and mentors that took me under their wings as I simultaneously pursued a whole other career path. I studied energy medicine for my own survival really but little did I realize that as I was healing myself it was ultimately preparing me so I could do this for others as time progressed. In my thirties and forties I went back to school, got three degrees and really delved into deep study and spiritual practice which served to enrich the path.
What are some lessons you have learned along the way?
I think one of the qualities I have learned to cultivate is the power of really trusting my gifts and the ever so vital practice of conscious surrendering. Life really does show you the way – your highest path – when you consciously and faithfully begin to surrender and let yourself be Divinely led. Everyone has this ability, as their free choice, to choose to begin to look deeper, listen with spiritual ears, and see beyond the assumptions of this world. It is our brilliant internal guidance system. Some will call it God or Source. Some will call it your Higher Self or Inner Spark. Whatever you call it, as I have experienced it, this Presence or energy that is available to us, and is essentially a big part of who we are, holds an intelligence and love far beyond anything ones’ ego or basic self could ever muster. So, it’s a powerful resource of our being-ness that is available at all times if we just learn to listen. This is why I encourage meditation, prayer, spiritual exercises or conscious presence, etc., so that we can access the deeper part of ourselves that really is there to accelerate and be life-giving. So, in essence, really learning to dismantle the doubt that I accumulated through different experiences and the choice to come into living in trust, has been indispensable in the development and unfolding of my healing work over the years, and naturally extends to all the other aspects of my life.
What do you want the world to know about your story or brand?
Oh gosh, I would just say it’s about making people aware that this kind of work is available to them if they are in a place of wanting to heal any aspect of their life story or if they even have curiosity about how they can potentiate their lives and gain new levels of self-awareness and self-mastery. Quantum Biofield healing is a tremendous tool for healing the child wounds, family patterns, misunderstandings of oneself and others, and a myriad of other negative imprints hold us back from living our best and fullest life. This healing approach is multi-faceted and can address and serve to resolve many familiar curriculums that have plagued humanity such as some of what I consider the “biggys”: unworthiness issues, scarcity consciousness, and savior syndrome.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh that’s easy! I would take them down to Malibu Beach by Zuma for a beautiful sunset walk. If they surf like me I’d take them to Broad beach followed by a delicious bite at Malibu Brewing Company for their incredible smash burger and just about anything else on that menu. No trip is complete without a museum hop to The Getty and the Getty Villa. They probably heard about the 20 dollar smoothies at this point at my go-to for notoriously overpriced but unmistakably delicious true-food – Erewhon. So, that would be in the mix for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If it’s summertime, a show at Hollywood Bowl would be a must with some pre-show mussels and the best lasagna in the world at my favorite local hide-away Pacé in Laurel Canyon.
As there’s so many beautiful trails and hiking spots, a Palisades hike by the Pacific or Valley trail on Runyon is in the mix.
Dinner at neighborhood restaurant Anajak Thai that’s finally getting its much deserved applause will send them to the moon with happiness. A recent James Beard award winner, everything from their curries to their Omakase tasting menu is incredible. Tell “mom” and Justin I say hi
And where and what else? If it’s a close “in town” getaway celebration or self-care retreat? A couple nights at Terranea Resort or The Ashram would be the splurge. If not, but feeling adventurous, skydiving at Universal City Walk and some nourishing organic plant-based food at Sun Cafe nearby. If she’s up for some healthy biohacking – cryotherapy, red light and hyperbaric at Next Health followed by Uovo Restaurant for the freshest Italian pasta shipped overnight to their spot daily.
Other go tos? Melrose and SilverLake for some cool finds. Chinatown for dim sum. LA Opera at The Dorothy Chandler. A lovely stroll at Huntington Gardens in Pasadena. Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens, Self Realization Center in Palisades, and my secret meditation vortex spot way up a windy road to the sky
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Jon Pleeter – my husband. I am grateful that I have someone who has held up the forte for our family as I pursued my own path for so many years. Looking back at my journey, when we first got married, I spent about a good decade straight in deep study, going to school, and so forth from going through a myriad of trainings, getting two masters degrees, completing a doctorate, traveling to India multiple times, leading long distance retreats there and elsewhere, and simply running a busy private practice. It makes life much easier when you have support of your partner. When I see others that do not have this as part of their experience, I have so much compassion for them because I know the importance of having the people closest to you in your corner.
