Hi Karolina, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
Well, there’s one person who stands out above all others – it’s my husband Erik. His unwavering dedication to his craft as an actor and producer in Hollywood serves as a constant source of inspiration and motivation for me.

Upon moving to the United States and – let’s say it straight – starting my journalism career here from scratch, I quickly realized the immense challenges of the entertainment business. It’s a fiercely competitive industry where success is never guaranteed. It would be silly to even try to compare it to much easier European standards that I have been used to. Through witnessing my husband’s perseverance and tenacity, I’ve learned firsthand that if you won’t pursue your dreams with everything you have, no one else will do it for you.

Erik’s resilience in the face of rejection, his unwavering belief in himself and his abilities, and his relentless pursuit of his goals remind me every day that greatness is achieved through hard work, determination, and a refusal to give up, even in the face of adversity. As I navigate the ups and downs of my own career on the other side of the camera, I draw strength from his example, knowing that success is not measured by the obstacles we face, but by our willingness to overcome them. Together, we inspire each other to dream big, work hard, and never lose sight of what truly matters because in the end, it’s the support and love we share that fuels our individual journeys and propels us toward our shared vision of success. And for that, I am extremely grateful.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
After earning my bachelor’s degree in political science in Warsaw, Poland where I am originally from, I delved into the world of journalism, driven by a curiosity of the world, desire to uncover the truth and share compelling narratives with the readers or viewers. But it wasn’t until I pursued my master’s degree in documentary filmmaking and journalism that I truly found my calling. As I honed my skills behind the camera, I also embraced the fast-paced world of entertainment journalism, working for some of Poland’s biggest news and showbiz outlets. From covering the biggest red carpet events to interviewing celebrities, I thrived in the excitement of the industry, writing about fashion, lifestyle, and the latest Hollywood gossip.

But amidst the hustle and bustle of my career, I always made time for myself – time to clear my mind and nurture my soul through solo travel. From the pristine beaches of the Maldives to the lively streets of Brazil and the enchanting cities of Europe, I embarked on adventures that enriched my spirit and fueled my creativity.

And then, love found me in the most unexpected of places – Los Angeles. Falling in love with Erik led me to a new chapter. Leaving behind the familiar comforts of Wołomin, my town where I grew up and lived my whole life, I embraced the unknown with open arms, ready to support my husband in his career as an actor and producer but also carving out my own path as a journalist in the City of Angels.
Is it going to be easy? I’m sure it won’t. But when reflecting on the habits that have contributed to my success in my motherland, one stands out above all others: my unwavering belief in the power of possibility and the importance of speaking up and seizing opportunities. Despite the risks and consequences, I’ve always been guided by the conviction that anything is possible if you’re willing to take bold action and forge your own path.

This belief has fueled my drive to push boundaries, challenge the status quo, and pursue my passions with unwavering determination. It has given me the courage to speak up for what I believe in, even when it’s uncomfortable or unpopular, and to advocate for myself and others in pursuit of our goals.

By embracing this mindset, I’ve been able to overcome obstacles, break through barriers, and achieve success beyond what I ever thought possible. Whether it’s navigating the complexities of the corporate world, pursuing my dreams as a solo traveler, or standing up for what’s right as a journalist, I’ve learned that anything truly is possible when you have the courage to believe in yourself and take decisive action.

So, to anyone striving for success, I offer this advice: cultivate a belief in the power of possibility, and never underestimate the impact of speaking up and seizing opportunities. With unwavering determination and a willingness to take risks, you can achieve greatness beyond your wildest dreams!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a self-proclaimed beach girl, there’s nothing that soothes my soul quite like the sight and sound of the ocean waves. Whether it’s the gentle lapping of water against the shore or the expansive horizon stretching out before me, the ocean has a way of calming my mind and filling me with a sense of peace.

One of my favorite spots is El Matador Beach in Malibu. Tucked away along the rugged coastline, it’s a hidden gem where I can escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse myself in the beauty of nature. Whether I’m enjoying a romantic picnic with my loved one or simply basking in the sun, El Matador never fails to captivate me with its pristine sands and dramatic rock formations.

Another beloved destination on my oceanic adventures is Zuma Beach, renowned not only for its picturesque coastline but also for its storied cinematic history. As I stroll along the sandy shores, I can’t help but feel a connection to the countless films and TV shows that have been filmed against this stunning backdrop. If some of you girls were in love with Mitch Buchannon from “Baywatch”, you just can’t miss the spot where the legendary show was filmed. It’s a place where the magic of Hollywood meets the beauty of nature, creating an unforgettable experience for any ocean and Pamela Anderson lover.

And then there’s the iconic Santa Monica Pier, a vibrant hub where history and pop culture collide in a nostalgic whirlwind. Standing at the end of the pier, I’m transported back in time, imagining the countless stories and memories that have been made in this legendary spot. From the iconic Ferris wheel to the bustling boardwalk, there’s no shortage of excitement and charm to be found here.

Of course, no trip to Los Angeles would be complete without hiking to the Hollywood Sign, an iconic experience that offers breathtaking views of the city skyline. As I trek along the dusty trails, the anticipation builds with each step until finally, I reach the summit and am rewarded with a panoramic vista that takes my breath away. It’s a reminder of the endless possibilities that await around every corner in this vibrant city, filled with adventure and allure.
And as I continue to explore the coastal wonders of Los Angeles, I know that each wave and each sunset holds the promise of new adventures and unforgettable memories.

A heartfelt shoutout to my incredible mom and grandma back in Poland, who have shaped me into the person I am today. Everything I do, every success I achieve, is because of them, their guidence and endless support they have given me. Though miles may separate us, your influence and presence are always felt in my heart. I hope to make you proud with every step I take.

And to my amazing husband, who stands by my side through every twist and turn, thank you for your unwavering support and belief in me. Your encouragement fuels my passion, and your presence fills my life with joy and purpose. Together, we navigate the highs and lows, sharing in each other’s triumphs and cheering each other on.
