Meet Nikki Apostolidis | Actress

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Apostolidis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nikki, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursed a career in the arts for the love of storytelling, I’ve always been drawn to the simple yet profound act of sharing stories. Whether through the lens of a camera, or the words on a page, I find a sense of purpose in bringing narratives to life. There’s something beautiful about the way stories can touch our hearts, stir our emotions, and ignite our imagination. For me, pursuing a career in the arts isn’t just about following a passion it’s about honoring the essence of what it means to be human and our ability to connect and find meaning in the stories we share together.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is deeply rooted in storytelling and exploration. One thing I’m proud of is my ability to adapt and evolve as an artist. When you are first staring out you think that only one technique or one way of acting is right, but as i have gotten older and more experienced along with learning new techniques. You learn that no matter what you as an artist are forever changing, you can only get better from your craft.
I love learning new techniques, as well as learning from others in the industry. We have all started off the same just different paths lead us to higher and different careers.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. Like any creative pursuit, it’s been filled with challenges and setbacks. However, each obstacle has been an opportunity for growth and development.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In LA, i would have to say Big Bear Lake. Cutest little town i have visited, in the summer its a cute little summer town and then in winter it is everything you expect it too be. Growing up watching films on how Americans went to a small ski town’s had a hot tub and played in the snow it was everything you can think of and more. Mixed with its small charm, from hot coca to a little cabins, with a picturesque lake.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to start of by thanking my family and friends for never giving up on me and my dreams, over the years you see people who think you are delusional for continuing to pursue the acting industry. It is always important to surround yourselves with people who uplift you and support your choices no matter what. With the acting industry being so competitive and a big its easy for people to want to give up, without giving it a chance. There are so many ways to continue on in your craft, like Fitzcarraldo Pictures a small production company that is dedicated to telling female lead stories, this will open you up to doors of exciting things that will eventually get you to where you deserve be in the industry.
