Meet Lisanne Messinger | Artist and Hair Colorist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisanne Messinger and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lisanne, why did you pursue a creative career?
My artistic journey began in the vibrant world of hair color, a passion that still ignites my creativity today. After four decades in the salon industry, I felt a burning desire to translate my expertise into a different canvas – one where color and dimensionality could transcend beyond hair. At the ripe age of 60, I ventured into my very first art class, and from that moment onward, there was no turning back. With each stroke of the brush and every canvas I tackle, my obsession with art grows boundlessly. The joy I derive from creating is only eclipsed by the immense satisfaction of seeing my work bring happiness to those who acquire it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
In the realm of art, inherent talent is a given. What truly distinguishes us is the passion within our hearts yearning for expression. I can’t compare myself to others, as I’m just true to my heart.
