We had the good fortune of connecting with Tyrone Thomas and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tyrone, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I’m from South Central, Los Angeles , my Back ground impacted me in the biggest way because it made me the Man I am today , taught me I can be Book smart

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started off photography in middle school when I took my first class but it never stuck with me , I started back when Covid 19 hit and at the time my girlfriend was a Model and I had the idea of getting back into photography because we could safe money on head and body shots .

The challenges I’ve faced started off is getting Bookings and getting my Name and brand out to people , also I learned a couple lessons on the way and majority is time Management and waiting last min to make edits

I want the world to know Westside_camera is Paving a way for the Urban area men to shine and progress in other areas than the typical stereotypes that’s Hold us back

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would visit little Tokyo for some great Ramen then follow up with some good Boba

We would visit Santa Monica pier and get some churros from the churro man iykyk lol

We would visit the Hollywood walk of fam and experience all the legends that made there mark on the world

And we can forget about the adventurous downtown Los Angeles we’re you can find anything you need and show them the sante Alley
