We had the good fortune of connecting with Eddie Wohl and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Eddie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I’ve always tried to go the extra distance for my clients. It’s always important how you end a project. All the good times during the process don’t matter if the last thing your client remembers is a bad last experience. It’s very important that as a composer I deliver quality work on time no matter what the deadline is. I try to make all my clients feel like they are the only client I have regardless of their budget..

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Being a composer/producer/songwriter is definitely not an easy path. I started as a recording artist signed to Sony, Elektra and Island records in 3 different groups. I moved on to become a record producer (Anthrax, Fuel, Smile Empty Soul, Ill Nino) and then became a composer. As a composer I’ve won 6 Emmys, 2 Tellys, 3 Pro Max awards and as a producer I’ve sold over 6 million units.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m a foodie so I would take them to Blvd Steak, Nobu, pizza wagon of Brooklyn, prime pizza and Sushi Bar. Los Angeles has so many great things to see it’s hard to narrow it down but I always take friends from out of town to the sunset street because of all the rock and roll history.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to thank all my clients who put their trust and faith in me to be a part of their art and vision. Most of all my amazing wife Julianne Kaye and 2 sons Jack and Luke , without their support my career would not be what it is.
