We had the good fortune of connecting with Meghan Judge and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meghan, what inspires you?
I’m inspired by people that are selfless and live their lives helping others. Whether it be military service, volunteering your time with an organization to assist those in need. Selfless people always inspire me.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Mental Health Podcaster. I started the podcast in the depths of Covid in 2020. Having struggled my entire life with anxiety and depression, I found myself at the lowest point of my life. I decided to start the podcast to help others feel like it’s ok to talk about difficult things and normalize struggling with loss, trauma, addiction, abuse and to fight to keep going. I am most proud of the fact that I am doing my best to attempt to help others that struggle in life. My podcast is called, “Judging Meghan,” with almost 200 episodes to date. Every episode I conclude with the following, “Keep Going, You Matter, Your Story Matters.”

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a true beach girl! I love living at the beach. My go to is always to show off the beautiful South Bay at Terrenea Resort in Palos Verdes. It is the most beautiful spot, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This location is a constant reminder of how very fortunate I am to live in such a beautiful place. I would follow that up with some shopping at my favorite boutiques, The Beehive and Wrights, both located in Manhattan Beach. I love the clothing and vibe, more importantly, the staff. They are all wonderful and welcoming and make shopping even more fun. Then I would make a stop at Nicks, Manhattan Beach for my favorite Kale and Quinoa Salad or Arthur J for the best Dirty Martini in town! Last, I would support my girls at Coco Nails Redondo Beach for a quick Mani-Pedi. We would then watch the beautiful California sunset off the pier in Hermosa Beach. Just thinking about this made me happy:)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout goes out to my husband. He is the hardest working human I know. The guy is the most wonderful Father and husband. Always willing to use his extra time mentoring others and the best listener.
