We had the good fortune of connecting with Ayaz Hussain and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ayaz, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Since I was a kid I used to watch a lot of movies and I used to get really exited about the art of acting. so I decided to pursue acting , I loved how movies and TV shows impacted people’s life and I always wanted to be that person who can change someone’s life through my art and it was just a thought , I did not knew how much work I have to put in to achieve that . As I grew older I started working on my acting skills and to be honest its an endless process of learning and I love it. I like to challenge myself with various different techniques and it helped me to work with a lot of great directors and to deliver the best I can . I know I wouldn’t have done this without proper guidance or training which I am grateful of Trisha Ray from Next Actors Studios in Houston who trained me for years ,building that confidence in me and it did pay off as it groomed me as actor. At the end I would just like to quote that “Life Beats Down And Crushes The Soul and ART Reminds You That You Have One”

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Acting is a profession that demands a unique blend of talent, dedication, and resilience. While it may seem glamorous from the outside, the reality is that acting comes with its own set of challenges that actors must navigate throughout their careers. The emotional demands of acting can be draining. Actors often delve deeply into their characters’ emotions and experiences, sometimes reliving traumatic or intense situations for the sake of authenticity. This emotional vulnerability can take a toll, requiring actors to maintain a balance between their personal lives and the roles they portray .Actors are often under scrutiny from directors, producers, critics, and audiences, each with their own expectations and standards. Balancing these external pressures while staying true to their artistic vision requires a strong sense of self-confidence and self-awareness. Being an actor is not easy. You have to have the ability to multi-task. You have to pay attention to your voice, your line, your light, your mark, your make-up, your costume, your action and many more things. So being trained for so many years helped me to overcome the challenges of my career. I think everybody will agree with me that finding job is very hard in this industry as an actor specially. You have to apply for a lot of projects daily, and audition for them and if you are lucky you get a call back and if you are even more lucky you will get cast. But out of 100 auditions you might get call backs from few of them. That’s Why you should never lose your hope and give up on yourself and your dreams. Good things happen to people who hustle. And I strongly believe that there is a place for everyone in this industry, it is just the matter of being at the right place at the right time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
