We had the good fortune of connecting with Aisaju and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aisaju, why did you pursue a creative career?
I chose a career in fashion at a young age, organizing fashion shows for neighbors at just seven years old. The joy and wonder in my friends’ eyes after their transformations inspired me to continue exploring the possibilities of fashion and art. To me, fashion is more than just clothing; it’s a powerful form of self-expression that transforms and reshapes our perception of the world, evokes emotions, communicates ideas and values without words, and inspires others to find their own path.

Starting my professional journey as a talent manager in university, I produced a music band, which reinforced my belief in the importance of uncovering and showcasing people’s potential. Working with the band, I discovered a strong connection between artistic expression and personal style. This experience led me to explore fashion as a powerful medium for creativity and self-expression, solidifying my conviction that fashion and art have the power to profoundly change lives by inspiring creativity and self-expression.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My journey in the fashion industry has been truly transformative, especially considering that I arrived in the USA without knowing English and without any connections. Starting from scratch was undeniably challenging, yet it imparted invaluable lessons in resilience, determination, and the power of persistence.

I recognize there’s still much for me to learn and achieve in this dynamic field. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities that inspire my growth as both a stylist and talent manager.

Today, I’m thrilled by the diverse projects I’m involved in and the talented individuals I collaborate with. Whether it’s styling an actress for the red carpet, working on films, or guiding a young talent’s career, each success story fuels my passion.

My journey hasn’t been without its hurdles, but overcoming each obstacle has marked a step toward personal growth. I’ve embraced change, cultivated resilience, and maintained a constant curiosity.

Ultimately, my brand embodies inclusivity, creativity, and a commitment to excellence. I believe that with persistence and a genuine passion for one’s craft, anything is achievable. The greatest reward for me is knowing that I have inspired someone to transform their own life. This motivates me to keep developing and pushing boundaries in this dynamic industry. I eagerly look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and inspire others through my work.
