We had the good fortune of connecting with Marty Bellari and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marty, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
My favorite quote is something that I’m sure everyone knows, however it’s something my grandma used to always say to me. She’d say “The sky is the limit.” Then she would end it with, “You can do anything you put your mind to.” As a child I didn’t really understand the totality of what she was saying. Once I grew up I heard it differently. The quote, “The sky is the limit.” simply means there are no limitations. So anything I believe I can do, I can do. It was like the jumpstart to my faith journey. Most of the reason why we as adults fail at believing beyond what we see, is because we live with limitations.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
If I could be totally honest, I’m still creating my lane. I’ve learned that fitting in isn’t for me. I have always been an “Out of the Box” kind of artist/creative. As a performer, I would love to a Rock Star. As a creative, I want to be like a Picasso. It took me years to be confident in my creative abilities because I had to deal with the negative feedback from those who just honestly didn’t understand. I always felt different or unwanted in certain areas. Truthfully it discouraged me for years and caused me to shrink and not shine like the gift God has blessed me to be. I spent years trying to fit in and minimize my gift and it honestly got me nowhere. I had to believe in me first and be ok with being the only one that sees my worth. If I could encourage anybody, I would want you to hold on to this. People will only value you at the level in which you value yourself. So whatever you do, don’t devalue to make someone feel comfortable with what’s on the inside of you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I mean it’s LA! You have to go to Hollywood! Walk the strip, take some pics, shop and of course eat. Then you gotta go to the famous Hollywood sign. If anybody knows me, it’s not about the sites…Take me to the FOOD! Lol I feel like if you come to visit me, we’re going on a FOOD-trip! Lol Then we MUST find a Karaoke spot. My go-to spot right now is Harold’s on Hollywood Blvd on Thursday nights. It’s definitely a good time. We’re gonna have a good time for sure, however if you’re with me and in town on Sunday we going to church. Shoutout to my church family Deeper Church Los Angeles where the pastors are Dr. Matt & Dr. Nes! DCLA STAND UP! It’s an amazing church in the heart of Downtown LA! Stop by every Sunday at 11:00am! Location: 333 N Mission Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90033. Who knows you might see me leading worship or capturing content, either way come take a selfie with me or you never even came. Lol

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this shoutout to my siblings: Kytieana, Maya, Kyler, Morgan, Jon II, Madison & Antonio.

As your older brother, one of my greatest goals in life is to be the model you need to see to be the greatest you that you could ever be.
