Meet Monica | Energy Intuitive

We had the good fortune of connecting with Monica and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monica, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I have two boys ages 20 & 12 and I have ventured off into a career that is unconventional and different. I have given them the ok to be different and think outside the box in knowing there is an deeper meaning to this life.There is more than just what meets the physical eyes. In the process of seeking more, they are really just seeking inwards and getting to know themselves more. In which the byproduct is that their physical reality gets a lot bigger. I have had to walk this walk and show them that It can be done.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m an Energy Intuitive and this is my art—I read energy. I believe that each person is unique in nature and is here on this Earth to bring their art from thought to physical expression. There is always a unique way of delivery that can not be duplicated and just needs to be given the ok to be expressed. What sets me apart from other Energy workers is my ability to translate what I see in the spiritual realm into a practical, straight forward yet loving way. I am able to do this from my life experiences. I assist people in learning how to decode their current reality and as the creators/artists they can learn to navigate with more flow and ease. Healing is a natural occurrence that happens in the process. When you tune inward and find out what you have been experiencing is just a process of your own creation then your approach and outlook on life changes. You start to see how this is all part of your journey and you can change it at any time. Life is not fixed but rather a creation where you can continuously add and take features out.

I teach people how to tune inward and tap into all of their spiritual/psychic senses. This really gets me excited for the future as a whole. The thought of people being Intune with their internal compass and intuition is what the world needs. This would be a world that is more Intune with each other and there is not separation but rather an appreciation for each persons uniqueness.

I also created my own line of energy hygeine self care products. These are made for everyday use with intention to heal and connect to your spirit.

I worked in the corporate world for about 12 years and I was extremely successful there. However my time there ended and I ventured off into working for myself and offering healing sessions and I was very good at it. it was play and not work and that is exactly where I knew I was called to be at. I felt a fulfillment that was undeniable and a remembrance of me doing this before, quite possibly in a past life. I was always good at reading people and very psychic but did not classify it as that. During that time I would just say I was lucky?

There were challenges in merging into this new line of work that were very mental. I came from such structure that enjoying what I did so much and getting paid for it was an obstacle. I was so use to work being hard and mundane and the that’s where I knew I was in a whole new world and I could not bring the past with me into the future. This Is where the deep self work started and learning to embrace and pave a new life for myself and my family. Old beliefs started surface and i worked on them daily to forge new ones that mirrored the reality I was creating for myself. The other thing that was hard was the fact that I was working with Energy, I could not put on a brave face and just show up if I was not feeling it. A whole new work ethic and morals started to take form . I had to be unapologetically me and learn to work with the flow of the energy as oppose to me trying to force something to happen. I learned a lot of patience here.

The biggest lesson I have learned is that life is a journey and change is inevitable. Its about learning to work with energy of all things. There is a perfect balance that is happening and when we learn to stop resisting our souls calling then life just gets a lot more meaningful. Your souls calling an be as drastic as a move or a simply nudge to go to someone. Its simply about being unified with the soul again. Once you get here its like enjoying a meal with all tastebuds working!

I would like the world to know that we all have a chance to live out our desires, we must be conscious of what we are creating . We all just need an opportunity to be able to make that happen. We all can create the life we desire to live, where there is a will there is a way. This is exactly how I started… I had questions to things happening in my life and no answers. But I knew there was a way and that is when I say the post card in my kitchen from a psychics advertising post card and that is where the journey started. I found my journey into the realm of magic as a seeker.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades. It truly is a place that is heaven on earth for me. We would first go to have breakfast at Cafe on 27 in Topanga, then drive up the coast and have a Buddah bowl at Sun Life in Malibu, then go to Lake Shrine and mediate. After all of this anyone would feel more interconnected and a healing session in Calabasas at The Indigo Healer would be just perfect.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout out to my kids who encourage me each day and im so thankful they chose me to be their Mom and we continue this journey together, leaving behind a legacy that is still taking form each day.
