We had the good fortune of connecting with Gaia Mariani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gaia, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
I used to be extremely stressed and reactive, struggling with a poor work-life balance. Work constantly intruded into my personal life, and I allowed workplace issues to affect my well-being at home.

Through consistent mindfulness practices and shedding limiting beliefs, I’ve learned to set better boundaries, which helps me maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm for both my work and personal life. Implementing a consistent morning routine has also been instrumental in starting my day with a calm and focused mind, increasing my efficiency at work and providing a clear perspective on when to take breaks to rest and recharge.

A significant part of achieving a healthy balance involved shifting my mindset around rest and self-care. I now see these activities as essential “recharging” times necessary for sustaining my energy levels, whereas before, I viewed them as a “unproductive” time.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is distinguished by authenticity, passion and commitment. I share the practices and knowledge that have profoundly helped me on my personal journey. I continue studying daily to provide a well-rounded experience that can truly transform people’s lives.

Starting my own business required overcoming many fears and stepping into the unknown. It demanded taking action despite those fears. Challenges are constant, but viewing them as opportunities for growth and expansion has been my guiding principle.Working with Tony Robbins coaches has also helped me maintain a clear and focused mindset.

I’ve learned to give less importance to the ‘how’ and the strategy, and instead, focus on the results I want to achieve. Regularly assessing my progress and celebrating my wins has kept me motivated and positive.

My brand was born out of a desire to help others find a more peaceful and fulfilling life in a seemingly chaotic world. I used to be highly stressed, which led to poor relationship choices and physical problems. Once I discovered how to live a different life despite long work hours and inevitable challenges, my desire to share this knowledge and improve others’ lives became my guiding light.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I like to take everyone visitiong me to Palos Verdes lighthouse. The coast line in that area is very impressive and unique.
A hike at teh griffith observatory especially at sunset would be om the itinerary.
If it s the first time in LA, a walk at the Venice broadwalk is a must to get the folkolistic and unique vibe.
As fara as food, a breakfast burrito is a must and Yamashiro on the hollywood hills is a fanattsic dinner with the view.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to express my gratitude to my husband, who supported me through a period of burnout and a drastic career change from construction manager to yoga therapist, sound healer, and now retreats leader. I am also deeply thankful to Indu Arora, who has helped ground my practice in yogic texts, and to Tony Robbins, whose guidance uplifted my confidence as I started my business.
