We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenny Ravage Enriquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenny, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Artists have a unique gift to bring beauty, emotions, and messages to life through their work. The power of art to inspire, provoke thought, and evoke emotions is truly remarkable. Whether it’s through painting, music, writing, or any other form of artistic expression, creatives have the ability to leave a lasting impact on the world around them and is one of the main reasons why I decided to pursue an artistic/creative career.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art can be felt in your hearts and, for the right ears, in your soul. I put a lot of emotion and feeling into what I play and write when it comes to my music. It is an extension of my very being, and I feel that’s what makes me a little more abstract than other musicians. I am proud that I have toured and played in many different parts of the world. I’m also very proud that I’ve worked with many producers and artists that have become lifelong friends. Thankfully, I got where I am today professionally by never giving up. No matter what odds or cards you’ve been dealt. Was it easy? Of course not, but it wouldn’t be a great story if the journey was easy. You have to be mentally strong and have great willpower if you want to overcome the challenges heading your way. I learned life is too short to worry about what could go wrong. If you never take a chance, you will spend the rest of your life thinking what if. If there is anything I want people to take from my story, it is that you matter. Never doubt your worth or your potential.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
West Hollywood and the Sunset Strip hands down! I would definitely recommend The Rainbow Bar & Grill. Not only do they serve strong drinks, their pizza is phenomenal, and the bar is loaded with rock n roll history! If you want to meet interesting people, I would head down to Club Sinister on a Saturday night if you want to run into some vampires. Try their green fairy drink for extra fun. Wanna watch some killer bands? I would either hit up The Viper Room or The Whiskey a Go Go. If you’re a fan of dark and macabre things, then check out The Museum of Death or The Hollywood Forever Cemetery. In my eyes, LA is probably one of the most unique cities you can explore!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to send a big and warm thank you to all my friends/family who showed up to see me perform and spent time with me through this journey. You helped my mental health in a way you can’t imagine. Your support fueled my passion and inspired me to keep pushing forward. I am grateful for each and every one of you who stood by my side.

I also want to thank all the people who doubted me. Your skepticism only made me stronger and more determined to prove you wrong. Your doubts served as motivation for me to continue plowing through whatever obstacles got in my way and a daily reminder that I am worthy of my title.
