We had the good fortune of connecting with Vera Vlasova and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vera, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started V-Factor Social because I’ve always been passionate about the power of social media and how it can transform a brand or business. I began my journey as an influencer, building my personal brand from scratch to over 145,000 followers across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Along the way, I learned the ins and outs of social media, from creating engaging content to building a loyal community and monetizing my platforms. I then started coaching other content creators and entrepreneurs, helping them grow their own brands and turn their social media presence into a source of income.

That experience made me realize I wanted to help people on a deeper level. I saw so many business owners feeling overwhelmed by the constant changes in social media and not knowing where to start. That’s what inspired me to create V-Factor Social—a place where businesses can hand over their social media needs to a team that knows what works and what doesn’t. What sets us apart is that we take the headache away for you. You don’t have to spend hours finding the right social media manager, training them, or figuring out what strategies will bring results. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting the area, I’d plan a week filled with great coffee, unique experiences, and pickleball (of course). Here’s a quick itinerary that combines some of my favorite spots:

We’d kick off the trip with a morning coffee run to Stereoscope Coffee to fuel up. They have incredibly high-quality ceremonical matcha. After that, we’d head over to the Pickle People Club, the pickleball club I started with friends. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people and play! We’d spend the Saturday morning playing pickleball, enjoying the vibe, and maybe even challenging some regulars to a game!

After a day of pickleball, we’d head to Costa Mesa to check out Greenhouse Coffee Co. This cozy spot is great for grabbing a light breakfast or lunch. Post-coffee, it’s time to explore the nearby Modern Museum of Modern Art for a more relaxed but still engaging experience, taking in contemporary art and culture. It’s a perfect way to unwind after a day of playing sports.

Absolutely! There are so many people who have played a huge role in my journey and in building V-Factor Social. First, I want to shout out to my amazing team. Without their hard work, creativity, and passion, V-Factor Social wouldn’t be where it is today. Every person on our team brings something unique to the table, and it’s their dedication that allows us to deliver top-notch results for our clients.

I also want to give credit to my mentors, coaches, friends, and family who guided me in my early days as an influencer and entrepreneur. Their insights, tough love, and encouragement were invaluable in helping me understand the importance of building a strong foundation, staying authentic, and not being scared to think bigger.
