Hi Boolur, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Considering I’ve been betting on myself my entire life, taking risks have played a big role in my career. The entire premise behind my brand as a producer/A&R, and all my companies have been helping artists and creatives who are taking risks succeed and bring their visions to life.

Risks have completely changed my perspective on everything. I’m a firm believer in lessons and learning from them. Wisdom is the most valuable resource we have in life. Everything for sure happens for a reason, so just believing in myself, my community & team is what has developed for me overtime.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I feel like what sets me & my community apart is how many good people we are surrounded by. As an artist, you always feel like people want something from you. Whether it be your product & music, or just to network with you in order to receive something in return.

The community I create with, and the art I create is made from the ground up. I have someone I can go to for anything I need help with, and they know they have me in return. Its hard to build that level of trust and create a family of people you can count on.

That was definitely the hardest part of this journey is finding like minded individuals who have your best interests in mind. The challenges of navigating the music industry are not for the weak. And I had to learn that the hard way.

I want the world to know that there is a community of good people out there that just want to create great & healthy experiences and art. And if they ever want to be apart, we welcome good energy with open arms.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I was with my best friend for a week, and I can show them around all my favorite places for a week, it would definitely involve a lot of running around to different cities and parts of town. Especially if we were limited to southern California, there are so many great views, restaurants, experiences ranging from LA all the way down to San Diego.

Ive spent most of my life in Orange County & LA, so Id start with food. Id take them to all my favorite cuisines, starting with Persian food of course. (Im persian) I genuinely believe OC & LA have the best food spots in the whole country for every cuisine.

I would them bring them into my life a little. Id want them to go to live events, shows, and music lounges. There’s so much talent and beautiful art all around these areas to see.

And id definitely try ending most of our days with a sunset on the beach. Theres easily dozens of different beaches id want them to see here in Southern California.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shoutout my “Odb” family. Odb is a community & brand I have been working on for a while, and i’m very happy with where my community is and has grown to at this point.

Were a community of creatives & visionaries who come together to support one another and put on memorable events & camps to work on our selves and our artistry.
