Hi Quim, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me truly happy is creating!
It elevates my soul and brings me to a higher state of mind.
As an artist, I thrive on creative challenges.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m a contemporary painter specializing in abstract symbolic art, where my main goal is to connect with viewers through a vibrant visual language. Known for my dynamic abstract paintings, I aim to express the universal energy that surrounds us all.

What sets me apart is my hands-on approach to art creation. by crafting my own frames and formulating my own paint blends, I seamlessly transition from 2D to 3D within my distinct style. Each piece tells a story about humanity’s connection to the universe.

One of my proudest achievements is the recognition I’ve received from collectors worldwide, alongside my personal growth and accomplishments in the field.

Continuous work, exploration, and creation are key to my evolution and the path that has led to my success today.

The art world is tough, requiring faith, perseverance, and goodwill. Looking back on my humble beginnings, I’m reminded that chasing dreams is a journey worth taking—a journey of self-discovery and boundless creativity.
I’m never satisfied with where I am; I’m always seeking the next challenge in artistic expression.

The most important lesson I’ve learned? Believe in yourself, no matter what. This belief has pushed me to continually evolve, drawing inspiration from astrophysics, music, and philosophy.

To me, art is a vital language, one that explores life’s emotions and asks profound questions about humanity’s existence. If there’s one word that describes my art, it’s “authenticity.” That’s what I hope to convey every time I show my work to the world.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
At first glance, L.A. may seem chaotic, but it’s filled with stunning and intriguing spots where the city’s rich cultural fabric truly shines.

We’ll kick off the tour at the Griffith Observatory, where you can marvel at the city’s vastness—it almost feels like you’re soaring above it. Next, we’ll head to the Downtown Arts District to my studio, the creative heart where my work comes to life. We’ll grab a beer and snack at Wurstküche before continuing.

After that, we’ll visit The Broad Museum, followed by an exploration of my unique neighborhood, Highland Park, where a vibrant mix of cultures thrives. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Kitchen Mouse, a fantastic vegetarian spot.

In the evening, we’ll have dinner at Bulan Thai Vegetarian Kitchen before wrapping up the night at The Lighthouse Café, where you can experience the best jazz in town. It’s the perfect way to soak in the spirit of L.A

My family’s unwavering support is essential to my artistic success. My wife and kids are always there for me, and their encouragement has been crucial. I’m deeply grateful for their role in my creative journey.
