We had the good fortune of connecting with Oliver Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Oliver, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk is part of every day life. Whether it be for creative purposes or career.

For me risk has allowed me to grow and be outside my comfort zone.

Allowing me to explore things that I’ve never experienced before

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, I started as a DJ when I was about 15 years old, and I was producing music as well and I was DJing at all these clubs in Los Angeles, including the Avalon, the whisky. And I did that for about 10 years or so and then I got really into playing live instruments and that’s when I joined my first metal band as a DJ. We played many shows in Los Angeles and the surrounding areas but unfortunately due to creative differences, we had to dissolve, so I am in a new project called cherry sage, and we are more of a soft rock band and I took up the role as the drummer and I’ve never met felt more satisfied in music in my life and I want to continue on this journey to make amazing original music with very talented artists And show the world that music is love.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would recommend Venice Beach Santa Monica, Pier Hollywood Blvd.,, Studio City, Universal Studios, downtown, Los Angeles, Westwood, the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Rainbow bar and grill.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shout out to Kulaks woodshed in North Hollywood. They host an open mic every Monday and it allows for many artists to showcase their work. And I’ve been inspired many times there
