We had the good fortune of connecting with Kuba Dudek and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kuba, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I was drawn to music from the moment I first heard rock music at the age of 13. From the instant I picked up a guitar, I knew it was what I wanted to pursue. As I honed my skills and began playing more advanced pieces, I started exploring my own musical ideas. Since then, creating music has become something I can’t live without—it’s a part of me that I have to follow.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My musical compositions extend beyond mere fingerstyle arrangements, seamlessly weaving in strings, electronic elements, and ambient sounds. In the creation of my album, I’ve aimed to transport the listener on an auditory adventure, evoking profound emotions.
It took years for my solo music to reach an audience, as I spent that time searching for my own artistic voice and gaining invaluable experience. Learning the skills to produce and release my music independently was a challenge in itself. After many setbacks with previous musical projects, I realized I had to take control of my own path, which led me to dive deeper into music production and understanding the industry.
I want my audience to remember me as someone who provides a unique experience—taking them to a special place where they can disconnect from everyday life, while also enjoying great musicianship.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting the area for a week, I’d want to give them the full experience—music, culture, food, and a little relaxation. For music lovers, we’d check out legendary venues like The Troubadour and Whisky a Go Go, both of which have hosted iconic rock performances. We’d also swing by The Hollywood Bowl for an outdoor concert under the stars.
Obviously you can’t miss Sunset Boulevard
