Meet Dr. Tatiana | Mental/Bx Health Doctor, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Tatiana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dr. Tatiana, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is my team. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my business partners, financial advisors, agency, and staff.
In 2021, as we know this was a time we needed mental/behavioral health support the most, I started my first business in the COVID-19 pandemic providing underserved communities with more information and access to resources.
I remember being by myself working from a small dining table in my small 2-bedroom apartment (e.g. writing proposals, program designs, and securing service provider contracts). I was also managing my own cases at the time, conducting assessments, advocating for my clients, and getting them funding, budgets, and grants.
I expanded in 2022 by hiring my first assistant. Now, not only are we a team of 6 full-time/salaried employees (e.g. case managers, supervisors, and healthcare administrators), but we represent as an agency. In 2023, I was able to expand my business structure further now owning 5 entities in total.
All businesses and investments contributing to my chain and overall brand of beauty and brains, I wouldn’t have been able to come this far without the support of my team.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My first business was created to provide underserved communities with mental and behavioral health resources, and what sets me apart from others is that I believe in giving our communities the information for free. I am most proud of advocating and raising money for our families (currently $8M-$12M) in programs and services, making an impact and changing peoples’ lives.
I was contracted with my first regional center in 2021. From there, the demand for mental and behavioral health services was so high, I connected with others all over the state of California and scaled quickly. The challenge in this field has always been finding staff but I am so blessed to have found a team that believes in the same cause and my mission to connect our communities to mental and behavioral health help/support.
It would be impossible for me to do this work alone, and that was the biggest lesson I learned along the way. Where I grew up, I was taught to do everything on my own because I couldn’t rely on anyone, but I am who I am now because of the people that support me.
That said, what I want the world to know about my brand and story is that not only do I believe in being your best self and living out your full potential, but its important that we build community, have connection, know and use our resources. This is our way to break generational cycles, build our own empires and bridge wealth gaps.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area for a week, I would show them around my community in Calabasas and Malibu, CA. Calabasas is a beautiful city known for celebrities, luxury, and nature, but we have great restaurants/bars in Old Town Calabasas and The Commons. The Calabasas Lake and Country Club is where I love to go for walks, events, food, drinks, and enjoy the views. I also love the Malibu Pier where there are also lots of great restaurants/bars to eat, have drinks, and hang out. Malibu is my spot for medspas and gyms. Both cities are so fun, therapeutic, and definitely another caliber of exciting people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to dedicate my Shoutout to those I mentioned behind the success of my brand—specifically, my business partners Eddie Addison, Maurice Manley, and Kaili Kimura for all of the their guidance and support that brought me this far in my entrepreneurial journey.
When we met, I was a single-member LLC owner stubborn to learn more about business structure, life insurance investments, and tax saving strategies. I was more focused on growing my first business/mental health practice at the time, of course, but what I didn’t know is that they would change my life forever. They taught me to build my own empire, financial freedom, generational wealth, and continue to inspire me to pave the way for others in my community.
To my agency and staff members, they make up who I was when I was doing all of the work alone. Together, our impact in the community is so much greater and have reached levels in this field I never even thought possible. I am so proud to say, for example, that we have 100 in our clientele and continue to grow and hire others to join our mission. We are leading in our industry because of them and for that, they deserve so much credit and recognition.
Last but not least, my Shoutout goes to Markee White—retired football player gone real estate investor and serial entrepreneur. As we know the entrepreneurial life has its unique challenges and isn’t meant for everyone, but I am so lucky to have such a loving and supportive partner. I can call him for anything; he helps me, brings me balance, and inspires me to keep going.
