Hi Heidi, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Discipline, humility and building relationships

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My Filipino American heritage plays a significant role in my music, infusing it with a blend of influences and styles.
Growing up surrounded by musically inclined family members, I was inspired by my Uncle Romy, who taught me to sing standards, and my mother, who played vinyl albums like Frank Sinatra. These early experiences instilled a deep love for jazz, R&B, and other genres, shaping her unique musical identity.

I am fortunate to have easily penetrated the music industry. I got connected to agents joined a mainstream band in Manila, and got a booking of 6x a week in hotels. Then immediately toured Southeast Asia following that gig,

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Southern California offers a wide variety of places to explore, depending on your friend’s interests! I would probably take her to Griffith Park & Griffith Observatory (LA) – A great hike up to stunning views of LA and the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills) – High-end shopping and celebrity spotting, Old Town Pasadena – A charming area with boutique shops, cafes, and great restaurants.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to thank all my heroes, Uncle Romy San Mateo, David, and my family, who have been supporting my journey in my music career.
