We had the good fortune of connecting with Ceeluxx and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CeeLuxx, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Music has always been a passion of mines and an outlet. No matter how I’m feeling there’s always a song to match the mood I was in. Growing up in the church, music has always played a part in my upbringing so I decided to incorporate it.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I feel my creative videos and writing my genuine emotions helps set me apart from others.I write what I want not what I think others want to hear. Everything that is said comes from my past experiences or something I’m currently going through. Music is my outlet, Im normally a shy person but through music I can say anything I’m thinking. I wouldn’t be where I am today without any hardships or set backs. I like to think challenges I overcame helped shape and mold me into the person I am today; helped me to be more appreciative over the lil wins and remain humble.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being from Long Beach, I would take my friend to the beach, we’d go eat overlooking the water, hit the mall so we can do a little shopping then the Del Amo swap meet to buy some gold jewelry (my addiction) . I like spontaneous things so maybe go get a tattoo and end the night at one of my homies club events or lounges. I currently reside in Las Vegas so the itinerary would be a little different. We may hit the strip, go to downtown Fremont, a selfie museum and a lounge at night for music and drinks.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shoutout my son King. He’s my heart, drive, the reason I work hard everyday, being an artist and full-time mother. I also want to say thank you to my mom Towana, for always supporting me no matter what.
