We had the good fortune of connecting with Alina Markeeva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alina, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued a creative career because I’ve always been drawn to self-expression and finding unique ways to connect with people. Creativity has been a natural part of who I am, and I enjoy bringing ideas to life through visuals and storytelling. When I discovered UGC, I realized I could combine my passion for creating content with the ability to help brands stand out. It’s incredibly rewarding to turn creative ideas into something impactful, and this career allows me to continuously challenge myself and grow in new directions.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in storytelling and connection. As a UGC creator, my work focuses on bringing brands to life through authentic, relatable content. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with audiences in a way that feels natural and engaging, whether it’s through video, imagery, or thoughtful messaging.

I’m most proud of the journey itself—starting over in a new country was not easy, and for a while, I didn’t know what direction to take. But discovering UGC gave me a creative outlet and a purpose. It wasn’t an overnight success; there were moments of doubt, rejection, and learning curves, but I overcame them by staying consistent, learning from others, and believing in the value I could bring.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of authenticity. People connect with real stories and genuine experiences, and that’s what I aim to bring to everything I create.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that my work is fueled by passion and a desire to help others shine. Whether it’s creating for brands or inspiring others to explore their creative potential, I’m here to make an impact and help people connect through art and storytelling.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to the incredible community of creators and mentors who inspired and supported me on my UGC journey. When I was just starting out, I felt lost and unsure of my direction, but seeing others share their stories, tips, and encouragement gave me the confidence to take that leap. I also want to give credit to my family and close friends, who believed in me even when I doubted myself. Lastly, relocating to a new country was a huge shift for me, and finding strength in those challenges helped shape who I am today. I’m grateful for everyone who played a part in my story and continue to inspire me every day.
