We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyndra Dahleh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyndra, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
One thing outsiders may not realize about the podcasting industry—especially in the motherhood and wellness space—is just how much it takes to create a truly authentic, meaningful connection with your audience. It’s not just about recording episodes; it’s about pouring your heart into every conversation, sharing vulnerable stories, and doing the research to provide real value to the people listening.

For me, it’s not just about producing content—it’s about building a community where moms feel seen, heard, and supported. There’s a deep responsibility that comes with that, and it’s something I approach with care and intention every single day. It’s so much more than a microphone and a topic—it’s a mission to empower and inspire women to thrive, not just survive, in motherhood.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in storytelling, specifically amplifying the voices of mothers. Through my podcast Camp Chaos, I’ve built a platform that’s more than just conversations; it’s a safe space where women can explore the raw, messy, and beautiful realities of motherhood. What sets me apart is the authenticity and honesty I bring to this space. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard stuff—postpartum challenges, mental health, and the constant balancing act of being a mom while pursuing personal and professional growth.

I’m most proud of the community we’ve built. Hearing from moms who feel validated, seen, or inspired because of something we’ve shared fuels my passion. It’s humbling to know our work resonates and makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Getting here wasn’t easy. Like many moms, I struggled with self-doubt and the pressure to ‘do it all.’ But I leaned into my purpose and surrounded myself with people who believed in me. I learned to give myself grace and celebrate progress, not perfection. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the importance of embracing the chaos and finding strength in vulnerability—it’s okay to ask for help and to grow alongside your challenges.

What I want the world to know is that motherhood doesn’t mean losing yourself. It’s a transformation, yes, but it can be one that empowers and enriches every part of your life. My story is one of balance, resilience, and a deep passion for creating spaces where moms can thrive. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to being a ‘mom first’ while showing others that it’s possible to honor your dreams and passions, too.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d plan a week filled with the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and local flavor to truly capture the magic of Newport Beach and beyond.

Weekend at Pelican Hill
We’d kick things off with a luxurious weekend stay at Pelican Hill. The serene atmosphere, stunning views, and impeccable service make it the ultimate escape. It’s the perfect way to ease into the trip while soaking in some of Newport’s finest.

Friday:
Breakfast at the Beachcomber in Crystal Cove, where the ocean breeze and gorgeous views pair perfectly with a cup of coffee. Afterward, we’d take a leisurely beach walk along Crystal Cove—it’s peaceful, refreshing, and quintessential Newport.

The afternoon would be dedicated to shopping at Fashion Island, with a refreshing drink stop at R&D Kitchen. It’s a great place to recharge and enjoy some of the best people-watching in town. Dinner would be an elegant affair at Oceans 48, where the seafood is as fresh as it gets, and the ambiance is unmatched.

Saturday:
We’d start the day with a Pilates class at The Full Routine—it’s a challenging yet rejuvenating workout that leaves you feeling amazing. Afterward, we’d head to RH Ocean Grill for a long, relaxed lunch with beautiful views and elevated dining.

For the evening, we’d make our way to The Elwood Club for cabaret and country night. The energy, music, and dancing are the perfect recipe for fun—it’s a night that promises great memories and maybe a few sore feet from all the dancing!

Sunday
To wrap up the trip, we’d go for a hot yoga session at Ra Yoga to ground ourselves and sweat out the indulgence from the week. Then, we’d grab a coffee from Coffee Dose, known for its fun vibes and great brews, before saying our goodbyes.

This itinerary strikes the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and indulgence, and it showcases the best of what Newport Beach has to offer. From luxurious stays to vibrant local experiences, it’s a trip that highlights why I love calling this place home.”

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shoutout goes to the women in my life—both past and present—who have shaped me into the person I am today. First, my mom, who taught me the true meaning of resilience and unconditional love. Her strength and grace as a mother set the foundation for how I approach my own motherhood journey.

I also want to recognize the incredible network of mothers and women in my community. They’ve shown me the power of vulnerability and how sharing our stories can create lasting connections. My co-host and the listeners of Camp Chaos deserve a big shoutout too. Their trust and openness remind me every day why this work matters.
