Meet Erica Campos | Hairstylist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Erica Campos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Erica, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks comes with a lot of fear, but it can lead to bigger and better opportunities. Even if it doesn’t work out, at the very least, you’ll have clarity and insight.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m proud of my commitment to learning and growing in the hair industry. I’m always eager to stay creative and remain open to new ideas. I constantly try to improve and evolve as a hairdresser.
Also my clients are a huge part of my life, we have built a mutual trust with each other that makes work more meaningful for me.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Yamashiro in Hollywood for sushi with a view. Mama Por Dios restaurant in Beverly Hills or Ka’Teen for dinner and drinks. If they were into salsa or bachata dancing, there’s somewhere to dance every day of the week where they have dance socials. Runyon Canyon for a hike if they were into hiking. Venice beach is cool to check out if it’s your first time in LA.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Other hairstylist who have been in the industry longer than me. They’ve generously shared their tips and tricks with me. I’m always grateful for their encouragement and friendship.
