We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrenaye Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andrenaye, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued an artistic career because anime ignited my passion for art back in high school. Its captivating storytelling, vibrant visuals, and unique character designs inspired me to want to be apart of that creative world. As I developed my own style, I realized I didn’t just want to share my designs—I wanted to inspire others through them. I especially love creating and drawing diverse characters, with a focus on representing Black characters. Art has become my way of expressing myself and celebrating diversity while encouraging others to embrace their creativity.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m most proud of creating my ” Color Your Way” coloring books and Handmade Animal Plushies. These projects have allowed me to blend my creativity with my love for crafting, and I’m excited to see how they resonate with others. The process of designing these items—from concept to creation—has been incredibly fulfilling, and it’s rewarding to know that my work brings joy and inspiration to people. These accomplishments are a testament to my growth as an artist and entrepreneur, and they keep me motivated to continue exploring new ways to share my art with the world.
