Meet Kenzie Hensen | Multi Award Winning Actress & Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kenzie Hensen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenzie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would have to say the most important factor behind my success is my drive & ambition. I’m not afraid to take risks and invest in myself to perfect my craft.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I didn’t have the best upbringing now I won’t go too deep into my tragic childhood lol but I will say I was 18 years old when I moved out of my parents’ house. I moved into a studio apartment the next town over with no car, no driver’s license. I worked 5 miles from where I lived and I would walk or skateboard to my job at the same time. I was putting myself through community college in therapy.
and because of it, I never got to truly
Delve into my creative side. When I got older and I went through therapy to heal from those things in my childhood, I learned to embrace that side of me and that I really loved working in music and that I had an opportunity to pursue my childhood dreams that up until that moment, I had never thought I could. These days you can find me in front of the camera and behind the camera. Not only am I a multi warding actress,but I am a model as well. Not to mention i work in production as well whether that’s a stage hand or a PA or many other positions I learned, I had a love for the theater and film industry

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
There is this cute little crystal shop down in hermosa beach, which was amazing I wear their bracelets daily i don’t remember the name off the top of my head. But I would definitely take them there and probably the santa monica pier. I actually live in kansas city, missouri, but I work in los angeles all the time, so even I am still learning cool new places to go here! But I will say I do go to the whiskey, and the sky bar a lot when I am here

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shout out my amazing friend and boss Cory OMeara who owns Stratgrazer entertainment. I’ve known corey since I entered into the music scene at 18 years old. He not only became a good friend of mine but an amazing boss. Who has been one of my biggest supporters.
