Meet Kyle Young | Music Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyle Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kyle, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I pursued an artistic career because creativity has always been in my DNA. Growing up, I was surrounded by art and storytelling, which showed me how powerful they could be. But for me, it wasn’t just about visuals—I found my voice through music, film, and digital art.
Music, in particular, became my way to express emotions, tell stories, and challenge ideas. It’s therapeutic, but also a responsibility—I create with purpose. Whether through lyrics, visuals, or storytelling, my goal is to connect with people on a real level.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art is a fusion of music, film, and design, all centered around storytelling. What sets me apart is my ability to blend these elements into a single experience—whether it’s through my music videos, digital artwork, or filmmaking, I want people to feel something when they engage with my work.”
Right now, I’m especially proud of my song Accountability. It’s more than just music—it’s a statement. In a world where people dodge responsibility, I wanted to challenge that mindset. The song is about owning your actions, staying true to your word, and pushing forward no matter what. That mentality is what shaped my career.
The opportunity to create hasn’t come easy for me. I’ve faced doubt, financial struggles, and an industry that prioritizes trends over substance. But I never let obstacles stop me—I adapted. If doors didn’t open, I built my own. If people didn’t believe, I let my work speak for itself.
I’ve learned that consistency often matters more than talent. You can have all the skill in the world, but if you’re not putting in the work—or putting your work out there—it might not reach your expectations. These days, I focus on creating with purpose and making an impact.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d kick things off with a visit to Coley’s Jamaican Restaurant in Van Nuys/NoHo – the flavors there are insane! For a casual spot, Marathon Burger on Melrose is my go-to, great vibes and definitely worth the stop. We’d hit up Hollywood Blvd for that touristy LA experience, and then take it to the beach with a trip to Venice or Santa Monica for some chill time by the ocean. I usually eat healthy and keep it vegetarian, but this would be a special occasion where I indulge in some of LA’s best comfort food.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my team at Joe Young Entertainment—without their support, I wouldn’t be where I am today. My family has also been a major force in pushing me to chase my dreams. Beyond that, I owe so much to the people who believe in me, whether they’re fans, mentors, or collaborators. That circle of support keeps me grounded and reminds me why I do this.
