Today we’re excited to be connecting with Alaine Fulton again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.

Alaine, we are so thrilled to be connecting again and can’t wait to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to. Before we jump into all of that, some of our readers might have missed our prior interview, so can you take a moment to reintroduce yourself?
It’s great to be back! I’m Alaine Fulton, Founder and CEO of Safe Haven Solutions (SHS), an IT consulting and managed services firm that has been supporting businesses with cloud, cybersecurity, and network solutions since 2005.

What sets SHS apart is our strategic approach—we don’t just implement technology, we align IT with business goals to drive efficiency, security, and growth. Our team is known for white-glove service, deep industry expertise, and a commitment to long-term client success.

One of our biggest milestones has been becoming a certified vendor under AT&T, delivering managed services for their broadband aggregation product. This partnership has expanded our capabilities and given us valuable insight into the evolving needs of multi-location enterprise businesses.

Beyond technology, we’ve made it a priority to give back. Over the years, SHS has supported organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Aspire2Stream.org, Second Alarm Org, US Cyber Initiative, and local school and sports foundations. Our goal is to make a lasting impact, both in the tech industry and in the communities we serve.

As a WBENC-certified women-owned business, I’m passionate about mentorship and diversity in tech. SHS is built on relationships, innovation, and a drive to help businesses navigate an ever-changing digital landscape.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
The last few years have been a time of growth and transformation for SHS. Our partnership with AT&T has been a game-changer, allowing us to provide real-time data inventory, seamless connectivity, and reliable IT support to multi-location enterprises. It’s been exciting to expand our expertise in broadband aggregation services and deepen our role in the industry.

We’ve also been investing in AI-driven cybersecurity and automation, helping businesses stay ahead of cyber threats and improve operational efficiency. As technology continues to evolve, we’re focused on leveraging automation and data intelligence to bring even more value to our clients.

Another major shift has been integrating philanthropy into our company culture. We’ve made it a priority to actively support causes and organizations that align with our mission of empowering communities through technology and service.

Looking ahead, SHS is focused on expanding our service offerings, strengthening our partnerships, and continuing to innovate in ways that make IT simpler, smarter, and more strategic for businesses.

We also want to give folks a chance to get to know you a bit better so we’ve prepared a fun lightning round of questions. Ready?

What do you want people to remember about you and your brand? What are some of things that you feel are most important, unique, special, etc?
At its core, SHS is about trust, innovation, and service. I want people to remember us as more than just a technology provider—we’re a true partner, invested in our clients’ success every step of the way.

What makes us different? We don’t just fix IT problems; we take a strategic, big-picture approach to help businesses future-proof their technology and scale with confidence. Whether it’s cybersecurity, cloud solutions, or network management, we’re committed to delivering seamless, reliable, and secure IT environments that actually support business goals.

Our partnership with AT&T has reinforced this mission, giving us deeper insight into what enterprises need to operate efficiently—real-time data, proactive support, and a partner that’s there when it matters most.

Beyond technology, what makes SHS special is our culture of service. Whether it’s through mentoring women in tech, supporting non-profits, or fostering diversity in the industry, we believe in using our platform for a greater purpose.

On a personal level, I hope to be remembered as someone who built something meaningful while lifting others up along the way. Being a WBENC-certified business has given me the opportunity to support other women entrepreneurs, mentor emerging leaders, and advocate for more diversity in tech.

And honestly? I want people to remember that through all the wins and challenges, I’ve always led with authenticity—whether that means tackling tough conversations head-on, sharing a laugh with my team, or embracing the inevitable twists and turns of entrepreneurship. At the end of the day, SHS isn’t just about technology; it’s about the relationships we build and the lasting impact we create.
