We had the good fortune of connecting with Caro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Caro, how do you think about risk?
I see risk as a necessary ingredient for growth. To me, taking risks doesn’t mean being reckless—it means being willing to step outside of my comfort zone, even when the outcome isn’t guaranteed. Some of the most defining moments in my life and career came from taking risks: choosing a less traditional path, moving to a new country to pursue dance more seriously, investing a significant amount of money without knowing if it would lead anywhere, or saying “yes” to opportunities I didn’t feel fully ready for. I’ve always tried to keep the bigger picture in mind. Every time I’ve leaned into uncertainty, I’ve either learned something valuable or opened a door I didn’t know existed.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. There have been moments filled with doubt, rejection, injuries, and comparison. But through it all, I’ve learned that resilience and self-belief are everything—and that’s something I’ll continue to work on. Believing in myself is a lifelong journey. I’ve had to accept that growth isn’t linear—setbacks are part of the process, and sometimes rest isn’t a weakness, but a necessity.

These challenges have shaped me. They’ve built the strength and character behind who I am today. I’ve come to realize that perseverance is everything—because the truth is, you never know what’s waiting on the other side of persistence. That breakthrough, that opportunity, that moment you’ve been working for—it might be closer than you think.

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is to keep showing up, even when things feel uncertain. Fear will always be there, but your passion has to be louder.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, we’d kick things off with a fun bike ride along Santa Monica Beach, then grab lunch at the Pier. After a chill afternoon at Zuma Beach in Malibu, we’d head to The Roof on Wilshire for drinks and sunset views. One night, we’d take a stroll around The Americana Glendale, grab some ice cream, and just enjoy the vibe. To wrap it up, we’d have dinner at Geoffrey’s Malibu, soaking in the gorgeous views and delicious food—basically the perfect way to spend a few days!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to a few incredible people who’ve played a huge role in my journey. First and foremost, my parents—for always believing in me, supporting my dreams, and driving me to every single dance class without hesitation. Their unwavering encouragement has meant everything. I’m also deeply grateful for my close friends, who’ve always been there cheering me on, lifting me up, and reminding me of my worth. And of course, to all the teachers and choreographers I’ve had the privilege to learn from—thank you for pushing me, for seeing something in me, and for helping me grow not just as a dancer, but as a person.
