We had the good fortune of connecting with Landon McClure and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Landon, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
The end goal for my career is to become a Sports Agent/Attorney and open up my own Law Firm in Los Angeles and NYC. I am in the process now of studying for my LSAT exam ( Law School Admissions Test) and plan to go to Law School next Fall 2026.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being from a small city like Raleigh, NC, I always knew that I wanted to move to a big city to pursue my dreams. Since I was around 7-8 years old I knew I wanted to move to Los Angeles. Growing up, I was a big Kobe Bryant fan and even though I did not know much about LA at that time, I knew my favorite player lived there. His work ethic, and dedication to his craft was something that inspired me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As soon as my friend arrives in LA, we are going to go to Griffith observatory at night to see the overlook of the city, so they can see how beautiful the view is. The following day we are going to go to Manhattan Beach to grab brunch and walk around the beach and for dinner we will go to Delilah in West Hollywood. For the rest of the week, we will do all the tourists things like going to Rodeo Drive, grab street tacos, having a smoothie from Erewhon, Santa Monica Pier, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, I would like to thank god for this incredible opportunity and platform. I am very thankful for my mother, father, my younger brother Kenton, and all of my family and close friends that have continued to support me. I definitely would not be where I am today without their love and support.
