We had the good fortune of connecting with Celeste Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Celeste, what’s one piece of conventional advice that you disagree with?
“Post every day, no matter what.” I understand the intention behind it—consistency matters—but I don’t believe in posting just to post. Audiences can tell when something is rushed or lacks heart. I’d rather share content that’s intentional, engaging, and true to my style, even if that means posting less frequently. Quality and connection matter more than quantity.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I started from scratch, taught myself everything from editing to pitching, and learned through trial and error what actually resonates. There were seasons of burnout, slow growth, self-doubt, and wondering if I was doing enough or if the algorithm was just allergic to me. But I kept showing up. I leaned into my strengths, asked for help, and stopped trying to be everything to everyone.

The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that the best-performing content is always the most honest. People connect with realness, even if it’s wrapped in a curated frame. I also learned to treat this like a job—not just creatively, but strategically. That shift changed everything.

What I want people to know about me and my brand is that it’s built on joy. I’m a mom, a creative, a partner, and someone who really cares about the little things. Whether it’s a dessert board, a family outfit, or a campaign that’s been weeks in the making—I pour intention into it all. This journey is personal, and I’m really proud of how far it’s come.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1: Pasadena Welcome
We’d start with coffee and pastries at Lavender & Honey, then take a stroll through The Huntington Library—a Pasadena gem. Dinner at Union for fresh pasta. If they’re in the mood for a drink, The Raymond 1886 has the best cocktails.

Day 2: Beach Day in Malibu
Pack up for a relaxing beach day at El Matador Beach. Stop by Malibu Farm on the pier for brunch with ocean views. Afterward, we’d grab smoothies at SunLife Organics and drive along the PCH with music and windows down.

Day 3: Downtown LA + Arts District
Start with a breakfast burrito at Dialog Café before heading downtown. We’d check out The Broad Museum, Angels Flight, and the Rooftop at The Ace Hotel for a drink. Dinner at Bestia if we can snag a reservation.

Day 4: Disney Magic
A full day at Disneyland and California Adventure, naturally. Matching sweatshirts, too many churros, and riding Space Mountain at least twice. End the night with fireworks and Dole Whip in hand.

Day 5: Connect With Nature
Morning hike at Eaton Canyon. In the afternoon, a trip to Griffith Observatory for the views. Wrap up with dinner at Little Dom’s in Los Feliz and stop by Jeni’s Ice Cream for dessert.

Day 6: Relax + Local Favorites
Slow morning a spa treatment at Burke Williams (Pasadena). Afterward, lunch at Kitchen Mouse in Highland Park, browsing cute shops like Galco’s Soda Pop Stop. Evening movie at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery (if it’s summer!)

Day 7: Farmer’s Market + Farewell
We’d grab fresh blooms and bites at the Hollywood Farmers Market. Then, end the trip with a dinner at Republique—it’s a splurge, but so worth it.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Without a doubt, I want to dedicate my shoutout to my family—especially my husband and daughter. Their support, patience, and willingness to be part of my content (even when it means reshooting a scene five times!) means everything. I also have to give credit to the incredible community of creators I’ve met along the way. There’s so much generosity and encouragement in this space, and being able to learn, vent, and celebrate wins together has been a huge part of my growth.
