We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Weber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
The idea for the Content Club came from when Covid hit and brand partnerships became slower. During, Covid I knew I wanted to still be making money so I consulted a few girls on how to grow their social media and was super successful with it. I also realized how much I had always wanted there to be someone guiding the way of this industry for me when I was breaking into it. I always wished someone was looking out for me in the social media space and helping me become more creative and make great moves to further my career. It’s cool that I’ve created this community where I get to be that mentor now for all these aspiring creators.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Now, there’s all kinds of online courses to teach people skill sets which is amazing but what sets my course apart is actually everything else that comes with it including my amazing community that has come together through this process. It’s the Content Clubs discord chat where everyone is super active sharing ideas and I’m always offering advice and answering questions. We have monthly calls where I let the community help decide the topics and it’s been really fun getting to know the whole community on a personal level too. I just don’t think you find that in other online social media courses. I am also always sharing campaigns and opportunities that the community can apply to, always looking out for them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I live in Venice Beach, CA, and honestly, I hardly ever leave the area—it’s that amazing. Of course, the beach is the main draw, but the restaurant scene is also fantastic.
Sushi: Wabi is incredible. Not only do they serve super creative and fun rolls, but they also make the best lychee martini. Right across the street is a great wine bar where you can enjoy a flight before your reservation and do some people-watching—perfect for a night out.
Lunch Spot: American Beauty (The Window) is my go-to. Their kale salad with crispy chicken on top is unreal, and the sliders are seriously good too.
Date Spot: Ospi is an easy favorite. It’s a casual Italian spot with a great menu, solid wine selection, and an inviting atmosphere—perfect for a laid-back date night.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I had the most amazing mentor, Marcus Collins. I interned for him at Doner and later became a research student under his guidance at the University of Michigan. He taught me so much—it was truly incredible—and continues to inspire me in so many ways to stay creative and make thoughtful life decisions. Marcus wrote a fantastic book called For the Culture, which would be my shoutout. He’s an incredible mentor, a dynamic presenter (he also taught me how to be a strong public speaker), and a brilliant professor.
