We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexia Vigör and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alexia, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I see risk as the price of growth. Every major step in my career—stepping onto a stage for the first time, dropping a track that exposed my most vulnerable side, choosing alignment over comfort—came wrapped in uncertainty. But the fear of staying the same has always felt bigger than the fear of failing.

Taking risks has opened doors I never could have imagined. It’s what got me into rooms and studios in Hidden Hills and Calabasas, and onto rooftop sessions with worldwide A-lister superstars—artists who, like me, built their paths by trusting their instincts over the opinions of others. These environments elevated my sound, sharpened my vision, and expanded my reach as an artist.

Every leap I’ve taken—whether moving to a new city, redefining my brand, or turning down “safe” deals—has added a new layer to my artistry. Risk fuels reinvention. And for someone like me, who refuses to settle, that’s everything.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve always been an artist. It’s not something I chose—it chose me. Since I was a child, I stood out creatively. I won every dance competition I entered. I got into Broadway productions early on and eventually graduated from the New York Film Academy. I fell in love with theater and acting, but music found me in a deeper way.

I’m a powerful singer—vocally bold, soulful, and unapologetic. Still, the industry often leans toward lighter pop tones, so I adapt and deliver while staying true to my voice. As a dancer, I thrive in versatility. From ballet to samba to street styles, movement is my second language.

Fashion has also been a lifelong passion. I’ve been designing my own clothes since I was a teenager. One of my proudest moments was creating my own high school graduation dress: a strapless white tube dress with a gold chain accent and perfectly scalloped layers of white fabric. To this day, it remains one of the most beautiful designs I’ve ever seen—let alone created.

I’m also a writer. I’ve written a few books that are in the vault, and some of my artist self-help pieces have been published, including in the renowned Mantra Magazine. Writing gives me clarity, and it’s another way I connect with and uplift other creatives.

What sets me apart is my ability to fuse it all—movement, music, fashion, words, and pure fearlessness—into one evolving story. My story. And I’m only getting started.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting New York, I’d give them the full Alexia Vigör experience. We’d check into the Four Seasons Downtown to start the week in style—it’s luxury, serenity, and the perfect base to explore the city. We’d kick off each morning with a run through Central Park to clear our minds and soak up that NYC energy.

Daytimes would be filled with a shopping spree in Soho—you never know what statement piece you’ll find—followed by smoothies or matcha in Tribeca, one of my favorite chill zones. Evenings would be all about art and sparkle. One night, we’d watch a Broadway show and feel the heartbeat of the city through live theater.

And of course, we’d end the night somewhere private, underground, and exclusive—one of those hidden NYC gems where the music is fire and the crowd is full of artists, legends, and future icons. That’s the magic of this city. Every day is a masterpiece waiting to happen.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this to my brother—a certified motherf**ker, the best artist I’ve ever met, and the most fun soul to ever walk into a room. His fearlessness and fire constantly remind me why we take risks in the first place: to live loud, create freely, and leave a mark no one can ignore.
