We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Vu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started this business because I believe beauty is powerful and lashes have a way of making people feel confident and beautiful! I wanted to create a space where clients feel heard and cared for. I love that I could build a connection and a friendship with everyone I serviced.

This journey is about more than lashes… it’s about creativity, connection, and building something of my own. I’ve always wanted the freedom of managing my own work schedule, and building genuine connections with others in this industry and it’s been very rewarding with every once of time and energy I’ve poured into it. Every set I do is done with intention and I’m very passionate about what I do. I absolutely love being able to make everyone feel empowered with a set of lashes and this is only the beginning!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I started my lash business with nothing but a lash kit, a dream, and a strong belief that I could create something of my own.
I had a deep passion for making others feel beautiful and it truly makes my heart happy when I see others happy.

What makes my work different is the intention behind it. I take time to get to know my clients, customize each set to their features and style, and make sure the experience is comfortable, always making sure they feel the service is worth it and that they leave satisfied.

It hasn’t been easy building from the ground up, learning as I go, and pushing through slow days and self-doubt. But I stayed focused, put in the hours, and I try my best not to compare my journey to another persons chapter 20 when I am on chapter 10.

I’m proud of every client who trusts me and every step it took to get here. This brand is personal, it’s real.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If I had a friend visiting LA, I’d have a whole list of things to do!

First off, brunching is a must! To feel the LA rooftop vibes at Perch LA!

Hit Manhattan Beach, literally one of my favorite beaches. And Santa Monica for the vibes, views and shopping!
