Meet Olga Move | Singer, producer, influencer, blogger, mom of 2

We had the good fortune of connecting with Olga Move and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Olga, what role has risk played in your life or career?
For me, risk has been at the heart of almost every big decision in my life and career. I took a leap when I quit my job and left university to pursue the stage. I moved to LA with just one suitcase and a dream. I even walked away from a huge online project with 7,000 students to focus on building my personal brand. All of those choices were scary. They meant stepping into the unknown, facing fears, and trusting myself even when nothing felt certain.
But now, as a mom of two, things have shifted. I carry more responsibility, and I’ve realized I can’t approach risk the same way I used to. Honestly, my risk tolerance used to be way too high—sometimes even a little wild 😅. These days, I’m learning to take smarter risks. The kind where you’re more prepared, where you’ve done the work, and you have the support and resources to back you up. It’s not about being fearless—it’s about being intentional and strategic, while still staying true to yourself.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is, essentially, me. I’ve been a creator my entire life, and I’ve always found different ways to express who I am at each stage of my journey. Every project, every performance—it’s all been a reflection of where I was in that moment.
I’m especially proud of my jazz band, MOVE. I started it when I was 23, with no real knowledge of the professional stage or music industry. But I had passion, vision, and a deep desire to create something big—shows with lights, costumes, choreography, and a full band. Right before COVID, we performed at a massive festival in China on a huge stage, and our TV performance for the closing ceremony was seen by over a billion people. It was a huge milestone in my career.
What made it so meaningful is that I wasn’t just the performer. I was the producer, director, art director, costume designer, and manager. It was a lot—juggling ticket sales, logistics, creative direction, lyrics, dance, and the actual performance. But all of those challenges only pushed me further. I’ve always been in love with the process—and that process has shaped who I am today.
The next chapter of my journey was moving to LA and transitioning into a recording artist. I started working with a platinum producer who had collaborated with Chris Brown and Toni Braxton, and a songwriter who had written for Britney Spears. I released my first single, “Sexy Talk,” which is all about confidence, vulnerability, and the freedom to be yourself—without fear of judgment.
Being an independent artist in LA is incredibly challenging, so I started to focus on building my personal brand through social media. Now, as a wife and mom of two amazing kids, my art has evolved again. I’m telling my story through short videos—sharing real-life moments, struggles, and joys. My goal, as always, is to inspire women.
My story has always been about following your dream—no matter the challenges, no matter how unsure you might feel in the moment. Keep going. Keep exploring different forms of art. But also… learn to love yourself along the way. Accept your reality. Don’t force yourself to reach the top at all costs.
Of course, I’ll return to music again. But right now, I want to show people—especially those who give everything to succeed—that it’s just as important to love yourself, to be gentle with your body, your emotions, and your heart. Find that balance between your dreams and your reality. Still dream big—but do it with compassion for yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
That’s easy—LA is truly my favorite city. I’ve traveled all over the world, and I can honestly say there’s no place like it.
My favorite part of the city is, of course, the ocean. Malibu is at the top of my list. I absolutely love The Sunset—the food is amazing, and the view is unforgettable. Nearby, there’s a beautiful hike at Point Dume with incredible ocean views. And for a little shopping, I always stop by Malibu Country Mart.
For nightlife, Bar Lis is a must—such a great atmosphere and amazing live jazz.
Downtown LA is also worth exploring. And of course, Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive are iconic. When I’m in the area, I never skip dinner at Il Pastaio—they have incredible pasta.
Santa Monica Beach is another favorite. I love going to Elephante—the ocean view is stunning, and the tuna tartare and whipped eggplant are my go-to dishes. If you’re into wine, Wally’s Santa Monica is the perfect spot for a glass (or two).
If I have a few extra days, I love heading down to Orange County. Laguna Beach is an absolute must—it’s breathtaking. I also recommend Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes and Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. Both are perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly, there are so many people, songs, pictures, and places that have inspired me—it’s hard to choose just a few. But I’ll try, because for me, people have always been the most powerful source of inspiration. I love watching interviews, hearing about personal journeys—I truly believe they’re the most interesting and beautiful stories in the world.
The number one person who inspired me was my father. He loved jazz, traveled the world, and introduced me to Miles Davis and Glenn Miller. We used to listen to old vinyl records and dance together in the living room. Because of him, I started a jazz band, which led to seven amazing years performing on stage, doing around 1,000 concerts and big shows. That time in my life was magical.
My mother was also a huge inspiration—she’s the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She had this way of handling everything with grace. For her, no problem was ever unsolvable. Watching her gave me strength and a quiet kind of resilience.
And when it comes to public figures, Beyoncé has always been a massive inspiration to me—not just as a performer, but as a businesswoman, a mother, and a powerful, beautiful woman owning her space. I saw my first Beyoncé show when I was 16, and it changed my life. After that night, I realized I didn’t have to wait for someone else to make my life bright, extraordinary, or special. I had always felt that fire inside me, but that show unlocked something. It made me believe I could do anything and dream big.
I’m still a huge fan—just recently I went to the Cowboy Carter show in LA, and as always, it was absolutely incredible. It filled me with inspiration all over again.
