Meet Luis Almaraz | Founder of RYNO CLASSICS | Pro Quality Mobile Auto Detailer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Luis Almaraz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Luis, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve been in the automotive industry for over 20 years, so cars have always been a central part of my life. When I started thinking about what kind of service I could enjoy doing long-term, I wanted something hands-on, something I could be proud of, and something I could pass down. That’s when the idea of a mobile auto detailing business came to life. It felt like the perfect fit. I have four boys, and my two youngest, Ryan and Nolan, already love helping wash cars. The name Ryno Classics actually comes from them: “Ry-No” stands for Ryan and Nolan. This business isn’t just about detailing cars; it’s about building a legacy together as a family.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started Ryno Classics in March, and in just a few short months, we’ve experienced exponential growth. Month after month, the business has continued to gain momentum, and now we’re preparing to expand into new regions with a larger team. But no, this journey hasn’t been easy. Like any new business, we faced our share of challenges: learning how to streamline operations, manage demand, and stay consistent as we scaled. But we overcame those hurdles by staying grounded in our values.
What sets us apart is our obsession with the details, not just in how we clean and restore each car, but in how we show up: on time, trustworthy, and committed to delivering luxury-level results every single time. We also use plant-based, eco-friendly products because we believe in protecting both our clients’ vehicles and the planet.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about Ryno Classics, it’s that we’re not just a car wash; we’re a family-driven, purpose-fueled brand dedicated to excellence, sustainability, and leaving something meaningful behind for the next generation.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to town for a week, we’d start things off with some real East LA culture. I’d take them straight to a East LA GROUPE car show. Nothing beats the energy, craftsmanship, and community you find there. Then we’d cruise down Whittier Blvd, windows down, oldies playing, and stop at all the legendary lunch trucks along the way for tacos, aguas frescas, and those one-of-a-kind street eats you can’t find anywhere else.
Midweek, we’d slow it down and head to Huntington Beach. We’d rent electric bikes and ride up and down the strand, catching ocean views, street performers, and soaking up the laid-back SoCal vibe. Maybe grab lunch at one of the pier cafés and stay for sunset.
I’d also make sure to throw in a few late nights with great music, maybe a local live show, or even just hanging with friends and family around a backyard grill. Southern California has this unique mix of grit, beauty, and soul, and I’d want them to feel all of it

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate this to Manette, known lovingly as Mama Muun, the founder and creative force behind Muun Chi. Watching her craft plant-based, eco-friendly foods with so much purpose and love inspired me to shift our products and services toward more sustainable, environmentally conscious choices. Her influence has played a big role in shaping what Ryno Classics stands for today.
