Meet Nia Moore | Solo Traveling Aunty, Private Jet Flight Attendant & Food Enthusiast

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nia Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nia, every day, we know how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Table For One is not just the name of my brand, it’s my way of life. As a private jet flight attendant of 8 years, I had to learn to find power in solitude being that there is only one flight attendant per jet. U sound most of my time in foreign lands and unfamiliar cities all alone. I learned to romanticize my life by going out to dinner and on adventures by myself–and still having an amazing time! When I started sharing my travels and all the delicious food I find on my layovers on my social media, I read the comments and realized how rare my lifestyle was. Most people admitted that they were inspired by my content because that had always been terrified of the idea of doing things alone, especially single women. This fueled me to show more of that, I have a great time with my life, by myself, and I connect with amazing people all over the world because my heart and soul are open to the possibilities–not shying away from them because I don’t have someone holding my hand. Solo travel and self discovery has become an addiction of sorts for me now. Believe me, I have plenty of friends and men that ask to come along, but I rather explore and dine alone because of the magic I experience each time I do.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Because I am a private jet flight attendant and food blogger, I was able to marry two passions by traveling all over the world with my distinguished clientele, to the most exclusive destinations, and taste my way from one city to the next. I use my instagram and YouTube to showcase my experiences as a solo traveler with the hopes of inspiring others to book their dream trip and not wait on someone else to go with them

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Bavel, Linden, Pija Palace, UMIAI, Amboy, El Ruso’s, Yang Chow, Casa Madera
After Dinner Drinks & Vines–Norma, Dot, Wally’s, Apothéke, Laugh Factory

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Father, Andrew Moore– A humble man with three girls, inspired his middle daughter to be bold, dream big, and lean into curiosity and away from fear. He showed me the meaning of unconditional love not through just his words, but through his actions.
Anthony Bourdain– Rest in peace to the man who sparked my burning passion for food and exploration, but also taught me that the best way to understand life is through the eyes and stories of the people in the world around me. So in my travels, I ask and I listen and I express far more interests in getting to know other people than telling my own stories
