Meet Amy Jaime | Singer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Jaime and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amy, what are you inspired by?
I’m inspired by the people around me—their stories, their resilience, and their energy push me to keep going. I’m also inspired by myself and the journey I’ve been on. Knowing how far I’ve come, and the work ethic I’ve built through dedication and perseverance, reminds me every day that I have the strength to keep chasing my dreams and lifting others up along the way.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My music journey hasn’t always been easy. Like many artists, I’ve faced my share of setbacks—rejections, self-doubt, financial struggles, and the pressure to constantly prove myself in a competitive industry. There were times when doors didn’t open, when I had to hustle just to be heard, and when I questioned if I was on the right path. But through it all, I stayed grounded in my passion, pushed forward, and used every challenge as fuel to grow, evolve, and stay true to my voice.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was visiting Los Angeles, I’d take them to some of my favorite places that really capture the heart of the city. We’d start with a peaceful morning by the water in Marina del Rey, then head to Huntington Beach to soak up the sun and that laid-back SoCal vibe. Afterward, we’d stop by The Grove for shopping, good food, and maybe a little people-watching. In the evening, we’d hit The Roxy on Sunset Boulevard to catch some live music—because nothing says LA like ending the night with great energy and a killer show.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my family and friends for their constant love and support. They’ve been my biggest cheerleaders through every high and low, always believing in me even when I doubted myself. I’m so grateful to have such a strong circle that lifts me up and keeps me grounded.
