You never stop. A lot of people, myself included, at times, have this idea that if you can’t quit your day job, you didn’t “make it”. It’s super prevalent in the music space, but I see it a lot with any sort of endeavor that requires passion. But it’s not even a little true. You should do things because you love them, and if you love what you do, no matter how little time you get in a day to do it, you should keep doing it. I guess if you don’t love it anymore, you should stop. But I find that’s usually the last reason why someone “gives up” on a passion. Read More>>

Rather than staying stuck in a frustrating loop, I allow myself to move on and try other things. By doing so, I continue learning, gaining new skills and experiences that often help me return to the challenge later—stronger and more prepared. Read More>>

I love creating, whether it be illustrating, painting, designing or DJing, it still brings me happiness. Once that love for it is gone, then it may be time to hang it up. However, I’ve currently taken a break from late night DJ gigs to focus on other aspects but I still love the art form behind it… cutting, scratching, creative mixing and blends, finding new music… So yeah, I still find time to practice and keep the skills up because I’m still inspired by my peers and continue to do it for the love.
