We had the good fortune of connecting with Breana Wheeler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Breana, what principle do you value most?
The value that matters most in my aesthetic practice is identifying and understanding what makes each patient’s face and skin unique.
What should our readers know about your business?
After 9 years of working as a nurse practitioner in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetics, I took the leap and started an aesthetics practice. What separates my practice is the less-is-more approach I take with most of the skin and beauty treatments I perform. The goal for my patients is to enhance their own unique beauty and to help them look like the most refreshed versions of themselves.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Lately I’ve been loving the duck pond at Balboa Park with my 5 year old. The trails are perfect for a family bike ride and the park is big enough that it always feels very COVID-safe.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We were two months into the pandemic and attempting virtual preschool with my then 4 year old, I was a few weeks out from having our second child and that’s when I had the idea that I should start my own practice. The minute I shared the thought with my husband, he said without hesitation “yes, you need to do it!” And he’s been supporting me every step of the way!
I’m also very grateful for my incredible medical director, Dr. Andrew Cohen. I see patients out of his beautiful office in Encino and feel so lucky to be working with him!
