Meet The Darbies | Musician / Rock Band

We had the good fortune of connecting with The Darbies and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi The Darbies, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Confidence that I can definitely do this. I have everything necessary to own a business, might as well be my own. – Ronny
Life has many eggs, there is no reason to have them all in one basket when there is so many opportunities out there.- Peyton
That I should be able to pursue my dreams so, if I have a desire to live my life a certain way, making it a life work and a business then I will believe it and work on it. I believe that others are there to help when you fully commit and do the work you want to see be done. This is to encourage you to start your dream project and business because it’s a personal choice and in the end is a collective impact you are making. – Nico

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Starting this band was a life decision that came easy. I knew I wanted to make something creative. But making it happen, was a challenge to say the least. The band started with my brother and I. Living in Mexico City at the time, and we decided to move to LA, to find the musicians and make the rock n’ roll music that we dream to play to the world. Our Stories are filled with passion, with deep desire, and self-Discovering. It speaks through the music, the rawness, the playing and the lyrics. We have created many opportunities to show who we are. And the most valuable lesson I would say is that you have to continue to be true to yourself and keep showing that to people, to the point that you are most yourself at all times. That’s what’s brought us across National tours and fast forward, to keep making new music and say what we wanna say! It’s been a very self produced process. Slowly building our Studio and self recording. We are excited to shred and bring you the Live experience and the wisdom of our experience through pure raw kick ass music.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to a cool cafe for breakfast, then go to the park and play tennis. Check out the farmers market ! Maybe have Ramen or something delicious later. We can go to the studio and jam some music. Hang out!
The next day I would take them to the beach! -Nico
