Hi Valentine, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Well, I started my career as a Software Analyst Programmer to solve business problems by implementing digital solutions across several large enterprises. Starting my own related business years later was me leveraging the problem-solving skills I had acquired in solving everyday business problems I came across.
I started TEMSconsu because I am naturally drawn to solving complex, real-world problems. I am innovative and disruptive in my thinking, and most times I am analysing as follows: 1) Does this work very well?, can it be done better?, is it optimised to its full capacity? etc. This kind of thinking led me to start TEMSconsu as a business.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am most excited and proudest of all the innovative, very unique digital products we have developed since 2015 with a global team whose average age is 26. I have mentored, groomed, guided, and trained most members of my team, including my own son, Trevor. Today, at 25, he is one of the most knowledgeable young people I have ever come across.

We developed 1) Excelite – An Innovative, unique Cyber Security Digital product that provides a 100% guarantee that your data can’t be hacked. 2) We also developed PMPplanner, a project management & productivity suite that uniquely combines Project Management with Asset Management, Financial Management, Time Sheet Management, Invoice Management, and AI Objects Image recognition for Assets and for all physical delivered aspects of any construction project, etc. It is also a first-of-a-kind.

We are also very proud that the TEMsconsu practice, as the official mentor and internship workplace for two universities in Australia, has guided the careers of over 30 professionals in the last 13 years.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Over 30 beaches in Queensland, Australia, which host several restaurants of different cuisines, a lot of seafood restaurants, lounges, night clubs. Areas such as the Gold Coast, which is the Miami of Australia, Sunshine Coast etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My family, partner, my kids, and my sisters have encouraged and motivated me. I have never had a real mentor, but I have been inspired by what others have achieved, such as Elon Musk, Bill Gates, James Dyson, Richard Branson, etc
