We had the good fortune of connecting with CD Lujan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi CD, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
Having balance is crucial in order to have a successful career with longevity. Being in Los Angeles for a year has taught me the value of juggling my commitments with my personal well being. I am also fortunate enough to be a member of a team that wants to see me succeed, not only in aesthetics but in my artistic and creative endeavors as well.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Artist/Creative/Model/Aesthetics Professional

Professionally I work in two industries, Entertainment and Aesthetics.

I’m a classically trained singer songwriter turned Actor/Model while also serving as the office manager for Renouveau medical spa.

Both industries ironically I fell into.

My plan was never to be an actor. My goal was to be a singer and when I was 17 I was accepted into a private theatre school besides never having acted a day in my life while beating out every artist I auditioned along side with. I took around 6 years off from the industry before taking my career seriously. It took about a year to book my first project, and since then I have lived a booked and blessed life. I have been fortunate enough to be involved in such amazing projects, everything from film to modeling in a national campaign.

I started my Medical Spa journey in 2025 at an I.V. spa. I was there about two months until all employees at my location were unfortunately laid off alongside its closure. After two months of being in my hometown I landed at my current spa, officially making the move to Los Angeles. In the beginning I only saw myself as a front desk but in less than a year’s time I became the office manager and now I am in the process of training to be more hands on.

I don’t find anything in life to be easy, it takes hard work and determination with my biggest challenges being learning to say “NO,” no longer allowing myself to be a victim of my past, letting go of people and things that no longer serve my life positively. My biggest lesson has been having to accept that I am human and we all have our strengths and weaknesses. If you make a mistake own it, move on, do better and be better. It serves nobody (including oneself) to beat yourself up over what cannot be changed.

My brand is ever changing and growing and the intention is to be a space where the communities I’m from can intertwine with my passions.

I’m the daughter of an immigrant, a proud Mexican/Indigenous/Native woman, and I Transgender Woman who has been living in my truth for over twelve years. Most importantly I’m a survivor of on going childhood SA as well as homelessness.
There is a beauty in the life I’ve lived. I want people to see me, to hear my story and be motivated, to dream for more, to want to be more. If they relate to the worst chapters of my life then I want them to feel safe and free to heal. Healing isn’t a destination but a Journey.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m lucky enough to have a best friend (Melissa) who is always visiting LA for her job as a sports writer.

We would have to start her visit with coffee and pastries at Cake Monkey Bakery in WeHo, hangout at The Grove and do some thrift shopping. Dinner at Canters deli and after that a Movie at Brain Dead studios leading to Plum Blossom Martinis at The Formosa Cafe.
One of the days I would have us visit downtown LA, check out the shops and spend some time reconnecting at Olvera street. Her last full day out here would consist of Tea at The Ghetty Villa and later watching the sun set at the beach.
The days in between would be filled with concerts and me trying to convince her to get a something done at my office lol
