We had the good fortune of connecting with Anna Owsian and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anna, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I am definitely inspired by diversity, people, their stories, visions, travel destinations, and of course my beloved yoga and spiritual world!
What inspires me the most? I am thrilled to share a piece of the women’s lives; their stories, their path, and the obstacles they overcame to become who they are today. That’s why I love and appreciate what I do. As a Coach, Yoga Teacher and business owner, many of my clients are Expat Women.
I teach them how to build exceptional, abundant lives based on internal values like independence and self trust. I am passionate about supporting and sharing yoga and mindfulness to transform their mindset and in exchange, they often share their true, authentic self. We invite each other to a beautiful space where we evolve in our lives, mentally and physically, with compassion, kindness, and understanding.
It’s an inspiring, rewarding, and transformational process for which I am truly grateful for!
What should our readers know about your business?
Long story short – I moved from Europe to Los Angeles a few years ago and yoga became an important and huge part of my daily life. Moving to another part of the globe with a very different and diverse culture was not an easy process.
I struggled with fear, stress, loneliness, anxious thoughts, and many other obstacles constantly coming my way.
However, when I look back I’m grateful for each step I took.
All of these experiences, challenges, investments in myself, and tremendous curiosity brought me to the place where I transformed. My passion became my business. I opened a boutique style yoga and coaching studio near the oceanside of Los Angeles and I am so happy about sharing my skills and knowledge with people who are ready to make a commitment to their growth. Besides the yoga studio, I help Expat women create a vision, overcome mental blocks, and face their fears.
When I transitioned to a new country, I mastered how to build the life I desired from scratch. Now, my deepest life mission is to impact women around the world and empower them to live the life they truly love.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Of course, I would like to invite them to my studio! Los Angeles has SO much to offer; I would suggest some of my personal favorites. The first place, Carbon Beach in Malibu is where I love to go for long walks with my dogs. There is also Gracias Madre, a great restaurant for a quality vegan lunch. Of course there’s Shutter’s on the beach, a relaxing place with outdoor seating, ocean views, and the best coconut tea. Besides food, I am a big fan of the outdoors. Some note-worthy hikes are Mandeville Canyon trail, Runyon Canyon, or Los Liones in Pacific Palisades.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I dedicate this shoutout to everyone supporting me on my journey: My husband, family, beloved friends, clients, inspiring expat women, people who connect with me through social media, and to those who always send their love and positive thoughts!
