We had the good fortune of connecting with Breece Justice and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Breece, what do you attribute your success to?
This is an incredible question! I believe there are two factors behind the success of my brand and work. 1: The impact on the audience. 2: If I was challenged by the mission. The first most important thing to me as a presentation designer, illustrator, graphic designer, and artist is how my work makes others feel. If my work inspires someone, makes them more confident with their message, or helps change a perspective… that is GOLD to me. 🙂 It is my mission to understand what others are incapable of visualizing, and then telling their story. The second most important thing that I find success within my brand, is taking an intricate complex concept and simplifying it so any type of audience is able to understand it immediately. I think a great design comes from the big idea behind it, and executing it in a unique way. I find the greater work I complete is behind the harder concepts. Placing a shape and color to an abstract thought is such a fun puzzle, and I find it extremely satisfying when it clicks.

My name is Breece Justice, AKA Breezy. I graduated Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.A. in Visual Communication and concentration in illustration. I am a hybrid to say the least! A presentation designer, illustrator, graphic designer, strategic thinker and artist. I am one year out of college and coming up on one year in my profession as a presentation designer at Ghostranch Communications. Presentation design is a beautiful blend of understanding a businesses message and mission, then branding it to help communicate their story through visuals. It is designing their stories through animation, design, and illustration all curated in Microsoft Powerpoint. Ghostranch Communications is the art for storytelling! A boutique serving the world’s greatest B2B Marketers, creating world-class presentation designs. Anything great never comes too easy ;-). One thing that helped me get to where I am today is my ability to problem solve, ask questions, and listen… finds out, there is plenty of that when crafting a powerful presentation! I believe everyone has skills to share and bring something different to the table. Being a well-rounded designer has opened doors. Being a great listener, learner and communicator has molded me into the artist and designer I am today.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would say grab some rollerblades, a handful of your most favorite peeps, a stereo, find a parking lot next to Venice Beach and JAM!!!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
SHOUTOUT Ghostranch Communications! Meeting Allie Wilson and Mikey Mioduski at the SCAD career fair my senior year of college has completely paved my path as an artist, illustrator, and mostly presentation designer. Steve Sheets, Lindsay Hadley, el Jefe Carter, Mary Sommers, Erin Whitmer, Lauren Dub, and winston 😉 are the most incredible people to work with and I learn from all their superpowers EVERYDAY!
